The pros and cons of the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) are as follows.
Pros:
Location: NITIE Mumbai is located in the industrial hub of the country, Mumbai. This provides the students with a lot of options to explore and learn.
Alumni base: Like other famous B-schools like IIM A, B, C, FMS, XLRI, etc, NITIE, too, has a strong alumni background with students working worldwide. A large number of NITIE alumni are VPs, CXOs and even some are owners of their own start-ups with great ideas. The alumni of the institute visit the campus often for alumni talks.
B-School Challenges: NITIE students are well known for their participation in B-school challenges. In the past, students have participated in competitions like HUL Lime, ITC InterroBang, DCB, Aviva, etc. The success rate of NITIE students in these sorts of competitions is pretty high and it becomes an interesting learning experience.
Peer-Group: Anyone joining NITIE is surrounded by experienced people in-between the age group of 21-29. Which gives an opportunity for good peer-learning as many students have experience in the industry.
Placement: The placement rate of the institute is 100% with an average CTC around 20 LPA. It is somewhat considered as the most recognized B-school for Supply Chain and Operations. Even IT placements have seen a surge in recent years.
Cons:
There is a lack of diversity in NITIE and most of the students are engineers. Also, there is high gender diversity, around 8-10% of girls opt for a management degree in NITIE.
NITIE is not preferred to those candidates, who want to pursue a specialization in Finance and HR, as it is a new branch and is still in the initial stages.
The brand-name of NITIE is not as reputed as IIMs, XLRI, etc, and the brand recognition is limited to the corporate world.
The pros outweigh the cons for NITIE. Although it is not as recognized, NITIE is one of the top B-School in the country with a NIRF ranking of 12 for MBA.

Without any second thoughts, I consider IIT Bombay a much better option than IIT Delhi. Some reasons that speak in favor of my opinion are
So both the institutes are elite in their own essence but nowadays IIT Bombay is a clear winner between the two.
You will not find an answer to this particular query anywhere. This is because IISc Bangalore and all the IITs release score-based GATE cutoffs for admissions into the M.Tech program. These cut-offs are not rank-based.
However, the most favorable chances for you are if your All India GATE rank is above AIR 50. This is not the case for all M.Tech branches at IISc Bangalore but for most of them.
Here is the branch-wise GATE cutoff for admissions into the M.Tech program at IISc Bangalore (General Category)-

FMS Delhi registration will start soon and will continue till the second week of December 2022. As per the FMS Delhi 2023 admission, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of scores obtained in CAT 2022. The CAT score required for getting a call from FMS Delhi is mostly 99 percentile. After this shortlisted candidates will have to appear for GD-PI and extempore.
If you are a GEM (General Engineer Male) you will have to face the maximum hurdles. You will need a minimum of 99.3+ percentile along with 95+ percentile in the VARC section.
If you are a GEF(General Engineer Female) then you will get an additional 3% once you are through the interview round.
But the overall target to get a call remains the same for everyone i.e.99+ percentile.
BITS Pilani conducts its own entrance test, BITS Aptitude Test (BITSAT), to admit students to its various engineering and science programs offered by its three campuses at Pilani, Hyderabad, and Goa. Generally, it is seen that the cut-offs of the first round of counseling are very much high. This is because many students tend to leave the institute after they get admission at some IITs or NITs or any other college of their choice.
The cut-offs decrease significantly in the second round of counseling. Now how much it will decrease is very difficult to predict at any stage. Each year the candidate pool is different. But if you look at the 1st round cut-off and the final round cut-off you will get the picture.
A lot regarding placement depends on the size of your batch. Batch size is an important factor because marketing companies mostly recruit a maximum of 3-4 candidates at a time, whereas finance companies generally recruit 7-8 people. However, IMT Ghaziabad is known for its marketing course and there are decent companies that come for recruitment. Whether having 20 months of IT experience will affect your chances at the placements or not depends on how you and your classmates perform on that particular day. Keep in mind that the requirements of companies have changed and many IT firms now recruit freshers, non-engineers, and non-IT background people as well. So, you never know what opportunities may be available to you.
A quick suggestion is not to panic and sit for a company that you wouldn't have considered under any other circumstances. Don't act desperate. With 12-24 months of work experience, you are in a good position and will have the opportunity to apply to most companies. So, you don't have to worry as much as the freshers or those with 3+ years of experience do.
You can get your transcripts from the North campus of the university. Visit the Examination Branch, New administrative block with the following documents:
After proper evaluation, they will submit the form and you will be asked to come back after 15-20 days. Importantly, you should again carry the mentioned documents to collect the transcript. Proper verification will be done and they will hand the transcript in a sealed envelope.
Yes, there are PGs near Galgotias University but it can be very tough getting one for less than Rs: 6,000. My friend used to be a student of Galgotias University and he used to stay in a PG which was very close to the university.
He used to live at Stanza Living. His living experience at Stanza Living was a memorable one. The PG used to organize events for career enhancement which made life in the hostel interesting. Food provided at the PG is quite good too. The rent is made known to the students straight away.
Stanza Living offers rooms that are fully furnished, there is unlimited wifi, laundry service. In addition to that, the PG also provides facilities for transportation to and from the university.
Stanza Living is at a distance of 15 km from Galgotias University. Most of the PGs are available in Alpha, Beta, and Gamma colonies of Greater Noida. Which is almost 15 km away from Galgotias University on the Expressway. It’s hard to find any PG or personal accommodation before this and daily commute is unavoidable.
