No, I don’t think IIM Kozhikode's selection criteria are biased in favor of students from Bengal. One of my uncles was on the interview panel a few years ago. He shared that shortlisting good candidates in Bangalore was a difficult task. Very few candidates were suitable enough to get selected. On voicing his concern for the same he was told not to worry as they will surely get more than enough candidates from Kolkata.
The conclusion is that whatever the reason, there is no special bias towards students from East India. It’s just that a lot of them clear CAT.
Yes, class 10 marks do matter for IIM Kozhikode. The weightage however keeps changing every year and also varies from one IIM to another. The detailed admission procedure is given in that year’s admission policy brochure.
The past academics comes into the picture for the following scenarios:

The weightage for preparing WAT and PI shortlist of class 10th is 30%. So yes, class 10 marks matter to get into IIM Kozhikode.
Depending on the candidate's profile, an IIM callback minimum percentile may apply. In addition to CAT exam results, a number of other factors, including academic standing, work history, professional certifications, gender diversity, and others, are taken into consideration during the top IIMs' admissions process. Each IIM has a different approach to how much importance it places on prior academic performance. IIM Indore, for instance, places a lot of emphasis on performance in the 10th and 12th grades.
Three steps make up the IIMK admissions process:
People who consistently perform well in school are known to receive rewards from IIM Indore (especially in 10th and 12th). There are three stages to the IIM Indore admissions process:
This is a general overview of the IIM Indore and Kozhikode admissions process.
IIM Kozhikode evaluates your academic accomplishments in this manner- 75% for CAT score, 20% for class 12th score, and 5% for academic diversity.
You have an average academic performance throughout, and do not belong to the academic diversity quota. In this case, a CAT percentile of 99.2+ will be required to get you a call from IIMK. After which, your admission will be based on your performance in GD PI. My brother had the same score in his 12th boards as you. He ended up receiving a call at 99.25 percentile.
Try getting a high CAT score to get a call from IIM Kozhikode.

The answer depends on your percentage and work experience.
My personal suggestion would be to forego the offer and give IIM C another chance. This answer is based on personal experience so might not be applicable to everyone. Only forego the offer if:
You are confident that you can score around 99% again the next year
You add more work experience in the meantime
The key is that if you are foregoing the offer, use the entire year to acquire new skills, gain work experience and upgrade your CV. The decision will be your own. But make sure you accept the results next year without any regrets.
The students' response to the IIM Kozhikode's PGP-LSM program was good. The demand of the course was also high.
But as far as the response of the industry is concerned, I think it will take a few more years to assess this. The course is new and will offer opportunities different from that of a general MBA program. Both the courses are not likely to overlap in significance for a few more years.
A direct comparison is not easy because it depends on various factors and preferences of the individual, although both of these colleges are among the best B-schools in the country.

It is incorrect to say that one statement is true or false without any context. However, based on the information provided, it is correct to say that IIM Kozhikode is older than IIM Shillong and that IIM Shillong has a higher average package and better infrastructure and placement compared to IIM Kashipur. It is also true that the average package offered by IIM Kozhikode is higher than that offered by both IIM Shillong and IIM Kashipur.
It is important to note that these figures may vary from year to year and may not be indicative of the overall quality of the institutes. Factors such as the reputation of the institute, the quality of the faculty, the curriculum, and the opportunities for learning and growth are also important considerations when choosing an institute for higher education.
