Should I take admission in mechanical at KIIT University, HBTI Kanpur or IET Lucknow?

Having to know some people studying in these institutions, I can say that the name of KIIT University cannot be said in the same breath as HBTI Kanpur or IET Lucknow unfortunately.

• HBTU is not only the best in Uttar Pradesh but also the best in the country.
• Some of the top companies visit HBTU.
• IET Lucknow on the other hand is also a reputed institution but if it is being compared to HBTU, the former falls short in terms of a network of alumni, quality of placements, brand value, and academics.
• In terms of infrastructure, however, KIIT is a very good institution.
• KIIT is also pretty expensive.
• You will be allowed to sit for some core companies through placement on the campus for the entirety of your batch.
• If you wish to work for an IT company that is service-based, then KIIT can be a good place for you.
• If you want to appear for GATE/PSU/IES, then it would be better if you study in a college that will be appropriate for your location.

Ultimately you decide to choose which college you want to study in, as this will determine your career ahead. So choose wisely according to your priorities.
