What are the advantages of studying an MBA in Gauhati University? How are the hostel facilities for MBA students, and how is the MBA placement records in Gauhati university? I mean lowest and highest

Some of my friends attended Gauhati University. According to their experience, the university offers a decent MBA program. The degree course is not that competitive, but the course curriculum is up to industry standard. 

Gu offers decent hostel accommodation. The campus life is also quite good. According to the recent placement highlights the highest CTC offered was 5 LPA. Some of the major recruiters that visit the campus placement are OIL, CocaCola, etc.
