Both these exams are accepted for admission at BITS. GATE rank is not compulsory for admission in BITS if you have already appeared for BITS HD. The admission at BITS is conducted in two ways. Firstly, you can appear for GATE and get selected to BITS on the basis of your GATE score. Secondly, you can appear for the BITS HD exam and get selected to BITS on the basis of your score in BITS HD.
