Whatever the scope of the industry, the "average pack" one receives is determined by one's skills and abilities, not by the degree or institution.

Choose one track to which you can relate. Then, work hard to gain knowledge and skills so that you can one day demonstrate your worth to a selection board.

Every branch has its importance whether it is a chemical branch, mechanical branch, biotech branch, etc. There is no world without machines. Every branch has its scope.

Industrial and production engineering (IPE) is such a branch that only a few people succeed. Those who succeed, only concentrate on their branch instead of preparing for IT jobs. If you study IPE or textile, make a long-term plan of 5 years.

Course Fee

INR 6.76 lakhs

Placement Average

85%

Average Package

7 LPA

Highest on-campus Package

15 LPA

Job roles offered

Design Engineer, Project Leader, Senior Design Engineer, R&D Executive, Quality Control Manager, etc.

The ROI is decent for this branch in NIT Jalandhar. The only thing to consider is where your interest lies.
