Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Industrial and Production Engineering. I chose this course because of my rank. Initially Just like all other aspirants I had dreamed of getting into the Cse branch but since my rank was not that good I had to take this course. I don't regret it anyway Faculty Student ratio is 1:10 The professors are highly qualified from reputed institutes like IITs and NITs During my first sem, our mid-sem exam was conducted within a month and the end-sem exam was conducted after 3 months

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Mechanical Engineering here because I had an interest in how machines operate and to learn different technologies. I have no regrets regarding my Branch, I left NSUT Instrumentation and Control Engineering for NIT-J Mechanical Engineering. The Faculty: Student ratio is 1:10, Faculty to Student ratio is good, Teachers are best here Professors are highly qualified with PhDs from IITs and other Top Universities. Most of the Faculties are Assistant Professors We have a Mid Semester exam and an End Semester Exam during a Semester. Exams are not that easy to score, studying just before 1 night and getting passed is like a joke, it only happens in movies. Teachers gave us very low marks even after trying our best in Exams, for 1-1 marks also we had to beg to teachers, it's very tough sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is being updated with every coming year, to provide the students the best experience. The faculties of the Mechanical Department know their subjects well and almost everyone is a Ph.D. holder from IIT. Exams are conducted twice in a semester, and can easily be scored well if a student properly prepares for the exam. Overall, the faculty is really helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all Chemical engineering is a core branch. It gives u as many opportunities as u are gaining from other branches. Luckily u have a less burden in this branch as compare to other. The syllabus is quite easy any one who did a small hardwork got a good cgpa in his academics. Also it is not all about chemistry, it is mainly about physical chemistry, how the chemical reactors works , their mechanism and all over. The faculties are quite nice and Understanding . As u know they are professors so they u use some technical keywords in their teachings that are not understandable. For this u have a very well known platform 'YouTube'. U can learn anything from their and score good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum and faculty members are best . Most of the faculty members are PhD qualified and well spoken. We have a good student ratio. There is a system of 50+30+20 , where 30 marks is for mid term, 50 for end term exam and 20 is for class assessment.

7.8Helpful

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually, I haven't chosen this branch but this civil engineering branch chose me. Because it is available best branch for me according to my score. Some of the faculties are cooperative while few are not so good. finally, you have to read by yourself to score a good CGPA. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders. if you give 2 hours per day you can easily score 7.5+ CGPA in examination. all the exams and holidays happen according to the academic calendar.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum has improved this year. Students previously were taught physics, chemistry, and such subjects that weren't related to their branch. But from this year every branch gets subjects in the first year as per their domain and that would help them in future years too. The faculty-to-student ratio would be 1:30. The senior faculty members are well qualified from prestigious foreign/Indian colleges. They carry quite good degrees . Whereas some of them work as assistant teachers who also have good knowledge about the subjects. The teaching method varies teacher to teacher. Most teacher prefer blackboards whereas some use presentations for better explanation. The exams are 3 months apart from each other. The difficulty level depends on the teacher setting it. Basically, it is good if you have prepared well for the subject.

NIT Jalandhar: 5 Answered Questions

Which is best: CSE IN THAPAR UNIVERSITY, ECE IN PEC, OR CSE IN NIT JALANDHAR?

Sabeer Chalana
Deborah SamLives in Gurugram, Haryana, India

Both branches are excellent. You must prioritize your interests. If all three colleges had CSE, PEC would have been the best option. All of these colleges offer comparable placements, with PEC having the upper hand.

In this case, however, it is clear that the average package in ECE would be lower than in CSE. City-wise, Chandigarh is unquestionably the best option, and the exposure you will receive at PEC will be slightly better.

The most significant advantage of NIT Jalandhar is that you earn the title of 'NITian,' as well as the opportunity to study in a nationally significant institute. You will have an advantage over students from these institutes in the industry because of this one factor. That speaks volumes about the opportunities and jobs available.

So, in that order, NIT Jalandhar > PEC ECE > Thapar CSE.

However, if you get CSE at PEC, choosing between NIT and PEC will be more difficult. However, you should choose NIT Jalandhar. The rest is entirely up to you.

Is mechanical and electronics in NIT Jalandhar as good as CS in the same college?

SagardeepStudied at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar ( NITJ )

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.

What should I choose: instrumentation and control at NIT Jalandhar or Thapar CSE interested in coding?

Rohini Mishra
Rajshree DuttaB.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering

First and foremost, make certain that you are truly interested in coding. Consider whether you truly enjoy coding or if you are simply looking for a high-paying job. It's preferable if you've previously attempted coding.

The most important aspect of BTech is that it is dependent on you rather than the college. The institute only provides you with resources. You should take advantage of it.

Out of the 80 students in the class of 2021, approximately 60-65 were placed. Oracle's highest salary package is 12 LPA, while its lowest salary package is 6 LPA. The majority of ICE students are placed in software and data analysis companies. Top recruiting firms include Deloitte, Oracle, PayTm, Nagarro, Standard Chartered, and Intuit, among others.

You must evaluate the NIT tag, fees, reputation, and so on. If you are truly passionate about coding, you should definitely choose Thapar CSE; otherwise, you can choose NITJ ICE.

Whatever path you choose, make the most of yourself and your college resources.
