If you are facing trouble choosing the right branch, you should remember the following things.

• Don’t opt for a branch just because of the higher CTC, or college brand name, etc. Because the degree you will get is for life. So, make sure you are interested to work in the field that you are choosing. 
• Also, go through the syllabus given on the official website and see if you can do the coursework for the branch of your choosing.

My brother was a student of MNNIT Allahabad and for his 1st year, the highest CGPA was 9.67, while many scored 9. So, the chances of branch upgradation are quite slim.

MNNIT Allahabad is one of the best engineering institutes in North India. 792 students bagged placements in top-notch MNCs in 2019. 

In the 2019-20 placement session, more than 200 students were placed in top-notch MNCs. A total of 18% students were offered PPOs. More than 65 recruiters participated in the campus recruitment who offered 70 students a package above INR 10 LPA.

The top companies are Amazon, Citrix, Cipla, Dell, Google, Infosys, Deloitte, Airtel, Britannia, Accolite, etc.

IIITM Gwalior is a far better choice than MNNIT Allahabad. IIITM Gwalior is way ahead than MNNIT Allahabad in terms of placements. It is because the job opportunities after pursuing IT/CSE course from IIITM Gwalior is plenty and provides tremendous scope in future.

Industrial production at NIT Jalandhar involves the designing and manufacturing processes for a product. The institute ranks 52nd as per NIRF 2020 ranking. The institute maintains a standard placement record of 87% every year.

Mechanical engineering from UIET Chandigarh consists of working in engineering services and manufacturing sectors. The university ranks 54th among the private engineering colleges by NIRF 2019 ranking and maintains a placement record of 80% every year.

NIT Jalandhar:-

• The admission is based on the valid score of 60% marks in 10+2.

The placements in both these colleges are good and many of the companies offer handsome packages to the students every year. The top-notch MNCs visit the colleges and offer lucrative packages to the students.

Facilities:-

• A 120 capacity air-conditioned hall in NIT Jalandhar for holding presentations and interactive sessions.
• The university library of NIT Jalandhar has an inflibnet network which allows them to connect through the digital facilities. 

As per the statistics, NIT Jalandhar has many scopes in terms of placements and is more preferred than UIET Chandigarh. Thus pursuing a course from NIT Jalandhar has a brighter future.

Production and Industrial Engineering is a specialization branch of Mechanical Engineering. Most of the subjects are similar in both branches. DTU is a good college in India. Students securing decent JEE Mains rank are able to get admission in it. This branch has good prospects for the future in DTU.

Most people are concerned about future prospects in the branch they choose. For production and industrial engineering at DTU, these prospects are good. Many companies that recruit mechanical engineers are also open to this branch. In today's world, most of the jobs are in the IT sector. These companies want people with certain skills. They do not care about the branch of their employees. DTU has a good coding culture. Most of the students practice computer programming. There are clubs and some groups of students who help their friends and juniors to learn skills. These skills help them to make a good resume to impress the recruiters. If one has an interest in working in core companies, then also they have a chance at DTU. If one maintains a good academic profile and an exceptional achievement record, he is sure to get a core job.

This branch also includes learning of management skills which are very helpful. Students of this branch can also appear for GATE. This way they can get jobs at PSUs or complete M.Tech in this branch. The location of DTU is also a boon for the civil services aspirants. Delhi is known to have top coaching centers for civil service preparations. So the people aiming to crack UPSC can also opt for this college. Thus, if you see all advantages of opting for this branch in DTU, then it is quite a good option.
