Normally, this depends on a number of factors.
Are you ready to take all branches or you are clear that you want only CSE, or IT? This is primarily because the cut-off of these branches is slightly higher every year as compared to the other branches.
If you are a domicile of Jharkhand, cut off for you is going to be a little lower compared to the other state students.
Note your category. Because of the reservations, the cut-off for general students is a little bit more every year than for the students of reserved categories.
For instance, if you fall under the general category and you are a domicile of Jharkhand, you have a fair enough chance of getting admission in branches such as ECE or IT with a rank somewhere around 12-15K. If you are looking for branches such as biotech or polymer, you might get admission with ranks under the range of 50-60 K.
If you fall under the general category from other states, your rank should be 4-5 K lower than the Jharkhand domicile students; meaning your JEE Mains score should be higher.
