The following are the fees (in INR) for the batch of PGP 2022-24 (Domestic):

  • Rs. 24,50,000 is the Fees for 2 years.
  • Rs. 15,000 is the Caution Deposit (General)
  • Rs. 5,000 is the Caution Deposit with Hostel.

Tuition, Library, Internet, Case Permission Royalty, Course Material, Hostel Room Rent and Service Charge, Medical Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, and Alumni Activities are all included in the fees. A one-time caution deposit is required at the time of registration.

The fees listed above do not include Service Tax or any other taxes. If such taxes are imposed by law, they will be levied on students at the prescribed rates. In addition to the aforementioned amounts, students will be required to pay a mess advance of Rs. 30,000 per term.

PGP students are provided with on-campus accommodation. You have to take into account that students in their second year have the option to live off-campus by making their own provisions.

For the batch of 2020-22, the fee structure for the domestic students at IIM Bangalore is given below.

Total fees for 2 years Rs.23,00,000
General caution deposit Rs.15,000
Hostel caution deposit Rs.5,000

While there are no fee concessions provided on the basis of caste or tribe for the SC/ST candidates, there are scholarships provided on the basis of the students’ family financial status and are decided through financial aid interviews which are conducted at the beginning of the second trimester. Scholarships are also provided to some students based on academic merit irrespective of their financial status.

Along with the tuition and the hostel room rent various other services are covered under the total fee structure like the Library, Internet, Case Permission Royalty, Course Material, Service Charge, Medical Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, and Alumni Activity. The caution deposit has to be paid once at the time of registration. Taxes like the service tax and all other taxes are excluded from the fees mentioned above, such taxes when made applicable by the govt. are collected from the students as per the rates prescribed by the govt. A mess advance of Rs 30000 also has to be paid each term in addition to the amounts mentioned.
