IIM Bangalore Placements 2023: Average Package: INR 33.8 LPA & Highest Package: INR 80 LPA
IIM Bangalore Placements 2023 has been concluded for the PGP & PGP in Bachelor of Arts programme. A total of 512 students received 606 offers. The highest number of offers came from the Consulting companies (221) followed by the Conglomerates companies (86). IIM Bangalore also concluded its placement drive for the 2022-23 batch of One year Executive Post Graduate Programme In Management (EPGP). Over 90% of the batch was placed within 3 days of the placement week in November 2022 and rest of the batch was placed in rolling recruitment process which was concluded on 20th January, 2023. Out of 75 students in the batch over 70 students were placed. Recruiters like EY, Mckinsey, Genpact, TVS Motors participated in the placement drive.
IIM Bangalore has successfully completed the Summer Internship Placements for two-year full-time PGP and PGP-BA 2022-24 batch in two days. This summer, IIM Bangalore's largest batch of 529 students received 539 offers, the highest batch size ever. Recruiters such as BCG, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, TAS, Nestle, among others, participated in the placement process.

How good is placement at ISB, Hyderabad compared to IIMs (since number of students are much more in ISB, leading to tough competition)?
When comparing the placements of the two, ISB and IIMs, the batch size hardly matters because both institutes market different products. The background and profiles of students of both institutes are too versatile to draw comparisons. If I roughly divide the ISB students and the kind of placement scenario they face then
- 90% of students get their dream jobs in the desired sector and company
- 10% of the students get jobs that are below their expectations but not worse enough to forgo the offers
So the batch size does not matter here and ISB Hyderabad placements are themselves quite satisfactory.
