Army Institute of Technology (AIT) Pune, was ranked 109th by NIRF for engineering and 54th by Outlook amongst the private engineering colleges in India. While NIT Hamirpur is ranked 60th in the Engineering category by NIRF.

Army Institute of Technology (AIT), Pune

• For the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) one must qualify JEE Mains to be eligible with 75% in 10+2 from a recognized board.
• For Masters of Engineering (M.E) one must qualify GATE examination with a valid score to be eligible along with the required documents.

NIT Hamirpur

• For B. Tech the JEE Mains closing rank for branches like CSE and ETC are between 6000-12000 and for branches like Chemical Engineering are 40000-60000.
• For M. Tech one must have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology / AMIE / MCA from any recognized university/college with a minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA only for B.E. or B.Tech. degrees.
