Which one should be opted, Tapmi PGDM or XIMB HR, in terms of placement?

It seems you are unsure about the branch you are interested in. Both PGDM and HR are diverse branches and one needs to first determine the field they are interested in only then they can make a sound decision.

If you are interested in HR, then choose XIMB HR without any second thoughts. It's the best HR program in the country. However, it's important to note that in this field your academics and profile building matter more than anything. Xavier School of HRM will provide ample opportunities for you.

An MBA in HR requires you to scale up for which you need a better skill set and a better learning experience that you can get at XIMB and not Tapni. However, if you are unsure of your interests, go for a PGDM in Tapmi.

If you are interested in HR, XIMB HR is the better option. It offers one of the best Human Resource programs in the country. XIMB placements for HR are excellent. The 2022 placement drive ended with an average CTC of INR 17.54 LPA. The highest CTC stood at around INR 32.21 LPA. Companies such as HSBC, Infosys, Mindtree, Capgemini, etc. take part in the placement drive.

TAPMI PGDM (2019 - 2020)

There are several incidents about how the B-schools across the country are facing issues when it comes to the placements for HR. However, at the same time, there also are various students from the HR branch who successfully have been placed in many top-tier companies.

If you are left with any particular doubt that concerns the placements of the HR department in XIMB, then it is suggested that you opt for TAPMI or PGDM. These institutes have better placement stats.

Even though the placements matter, your passion and what you choose to do also partially is important as well.
