For the PGP, PGP-PPM and PGP-BA courses of IIM Bangalore, the overall CAT 2023 cutoff is 99 percentile (for general category). As for the sectional cutoff, it is 80 percentile for all the three courses, in VARC, QA as well as DILR. As for SC candidates, the cutoff is 70 percentile overall, and it is 70 percentile for each of the sections as well.

You can check the overall and sectional cutoffs for other categories as well.

IIM Bangalore has fixed qualifying CAT cut off at 85 percentile (General Category) under the selection criteria and admission process for the 2020-2022 MBA batch. There is a drop of 5 percentile in the qualifying cut-off as compared to last year. The qualifying cut-off for the reserved category students has been reduced by 5 percentile this year. There is a drop of 5 percentile in sectional cut-off percentiles, too. However, both overall and sectional cut-offs for PWD candidates remain the same as last year. IIMB MBA CAT Cut-off is as follows.
Category Cut-off percentile
General 85
NC OBC 75
EWS 75
SC 70
ST 65
PWD 60

Here is the subject-wise CAT weightage.

  • Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC) - 14
  • Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation (LRDI) -
  • Quantitative Aptitude (QA) - 10
