How are the hostels of Thapar University?

The Thapar University hostels are quite safe.

There is a zero tolerance policy towards ragging, indiscipline and illegal substances within the hostel premises. In-house laundry facilities are available at affordable charges. The mess food is good quality and hygienic. Moreover, each hostel is provided with good wifi connectivity and AC rooms. The fresher hostels have common washrooms.

You can opt for either four seater, three seater or two seater rooms according to your comfort. The new hostels are well built, and even the old ones like B,C,A are well maintained. All hostel rooms are spacious, even the four seater ones. But during summers, the hot weather and mosquitoes can cause some discomfort.

Any complaints regarding the amenities are resolved by the hostel authorities. Almost all machines in the gyms are in working condition. The TV room is used for watching cricket and football matches, and the reading room is a suitable place for quiet studies. The reading rooms are equipped with ACs. Each hostel has a night canteen from where you can get some snacks.

Overall, Thapar has good hostel facilities.

Thapar University offers hostel facilities to the enrolled students which are spread over a large area of land. You can opt for two-seaters, three-seaters, and four-seaters rooms as per your requirements and budget.

The hostels are divided into several blocks. All of the blocks have been well constructed with plantations everywhere.
The hostel rooms are spacious and will not cause any sort of trouble to you during your stay there.
There are a total of six hostels at the university. Each one of the hostels has high-speed internet (Wi-Fi) connectivity, geyser in every room, 24 hours power supply, Water purifiers, clean bathrooms, etc.
A Gym facility is also available for students along with several halls and courts for sports, cultural and extracurricular activities.
An in-house marketplace is also available which has a variety of shops. The students can even opt for in-house laundry services at the university.
The mess food is of good quality and is made hygienically under supervision keeping in mind the health of the students.
If you want to study, you can go to the Reading room.

One of my friends is pursuing his B.Tech from Thapar University and he used to stay in one of the hostels of the university. He has had a very good time there.
