Which is better: Thapar University or PEC University of Technology?

Punjab Engineering College University of Technology (PEC) ranks at 68th position in NIRF Engineering Rankings while Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) ranks at 29th position.

The fee structure at both the institutions varies significantly as Thapar’s annual tuition fee is 3.2 lakhs and PEC’s annual fee is approximately INR 96,750. So ROI for PEC is better than Thapar University.

In terms of academia, PEC offers 8 Undergraduate B.Tech. courses and 14 Postgraduate M.Tech. Programs. Thapar offers a wide range of degrees in BE/B.Tech, MCA, MBA, ME, M.Tech, and M.A. Thapar University also has a pretty strict attendance policy.

Apart from the course fee, there are not many significant differences between Thapar and PEC. Both the institutes are well-reputed in the engineering domain and have equivalent brand value.
