How is the placement of VLSI in NIT Trichy?

I have a friend who is doing her MS from NIT Trichy. She was able to give some information regarding the placements for M.Tech. 

• NIT Trichy is among the best institutes in the country for an M.Tech in VLSI. Many core VLSI companies visit the campus for placements.
• The average CTC offered to the students by the core VLSI companies is 11-12 LPA. 
• Some of the major recruiting companies for VLSI are Qualcomm, Invidia, Marwell, etc. 
• Most students were offered digital and hardware profiles. 

The placements of VLSI at NIT Trichy are very good and many students get selected in core VLSI companies with a good package. So, if you are good at your academics and are able to score good marks in your final exams, then you can easily get a job with a decent package.
