Life at AIIMS Bathinda is very vibrant and happening. AIIMS Bathinda follows the academics similar to other AIIMS in India. Admission at AIIMS Bathinda is purely merit-based. It does not offer any direct admission.

AIIMS Bathinda spread across 177 acres has an excellent campus with modern facilities. The orientation program at AIIMS Bathinda will be conducted for 12 days after which the classes commence.

AIIMS Bathinda conducts student seminars, tests and vivas every week so that students are well caught up with academics and are prepared thoroughly for examinations. The institute also offers laboratories with good equipment to aid students in enhancing their practical skills. Seniors and faculty at AIIMS Bathinda are quite helpful and friendly, which aids students to cope and settle well on campus.

Life at AIIMS Bathinda is all about balance between academics and co-curricular activities. The institution organizes cultural events, festivals, and sports events and encourages students to actively participate in all extracurricular activities. Students are also sent on an Art of Living retreat for 7 days to help them de-stress and aid in sound thinking. Life at AIIMS Bathinda is full of fun and new experiences. On the first day, you will be warmly welcomed by the director, dean, professors, and seniors. After this, an orientation program is conducted that takes place for 12 days. Soon after your classes Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry begin and students will be seen searching for the best study material to begin.

The academic environment here is very dynamic and the rigor is maintained through weekly student seminars, tests, and vivas.
You will find it difficult to cope with the dynamism initially but soon you will find yourself well-adapted to the rigor.
The institute has the most friendly professors and you can seek assistance from them anytime.
The seniors are also very cooperative and their experience helps you a lot in preparing for your exams.
AIIMS Bathinda also focuses equally on extracurricular activities such as the white coat ceremony, kite flying competition, festival celebrations, cancer awareness week, and weekly hangouts and cricket sessions.

Overall AIIMS Bathinda is a great place to be with a very hospital ambiance and many places to explore near the campus.
