How is the atmosphere of IIT BHU?

BHU is a public institution located in the heart of the city with a vast campus size of 1300 acres, third-largest in India. The campus provides all facilities for nearly every sport, including a wide range of playgrounds, courts, and sports complexes. The pitfalls for this huge campus include the transport facilities inside the campus premises as it is difficult to commute from one place to another inside the campus on foot. One needs to grab auto/rickshaw frequently to commute; which can be resolved by allowing personal vehicles, but it is forbidden for freshers in their first year. IIT BHU shares the same campus as BHU and there is no restriction on the entry to the campus which gives rise to safety issues. The infrastructure of the college is a little behind as compared to top IITs and few NITs with most of the classrooms and labs do not have ACs, projectors, and labs are not well-equipped. From the academic viewpoint, IIT BHU provides an excellent atmosphere, students can take part in various club activities, events and seminars that take place around the whole year. You will get to learn and maintain social interaction, creative ideas, and enhance your talents. The diversity of societies varies from literacy club to dramatics, coding, robotics covering nearly every hobby one can possess. Coming to hostels, some of them are flamboyant because of cultural heritage. The mess food is extremely exquisite covering all cuisines with great hospitality of the mess workers. One doesn’t need to rely on the canteens and food ordering apps except for some special occasions. The campus also organizes lots of fest like KASHIYATRA, the annual Socio-cultural three days fest followed by SPARDHA, the sports fest, and other enticing events throughout the year.
