What should I choose between MNNIT Allahabad CS or IIIT Hyderabad ECE?

IIIT Hyderabad ECE will be a better option. It offers better facilities and opportunities compared to MNNIT Allahabad.

The student intake for IIITH ECE is around 90, while the MNNIT Allahabad CS batch size is around 160-180. So, you will face less competition at IIITH.
IIIT Hyderabad CSE average package is INR 20 LPA, according to the recent placement highlights.
Located in Hyderabad, it has a huge locational advantage. Hyderabad is an electronic city and it houses more than 1300 IT and ITES firms. These firms recruit more than 407,000 individuals each year. So, you will have great exposure.

Due to the locational advantage and the exposure, IIIT Hyderabad ECE will be a better option.

Below given are some facts about CS of MNNIT Allahabad and ECE of IIIT Hyderabad:

IIIT Hyderabad and MNNIT Allahabad both enroll talented students every year through JEE-Mains but the cutoff for IIIT Hyderabad is more demanding than MNNIT.
IIIT Hyderabad allows both 4-year classroom program as well as 5-year program B. Tech + MS Dual Degree whereas MNNIT only allows for the 4-year program.
The intake of MNNIT for CSE is about 160 to 180 students whereas, in IIIT Hyderabad for ECE, it’s only 90 therefore competition is less in IIIT Hyderabad.
Hyderabad is a more advanced city than Allahabad but the exposure of MNNIT students is more than IIIT Hyderabad students.
The NIRF ranking 2020 of IIIT Hyderabad is 101 whereas the rank of MNNIT is 93.
