How are placements in XLRI HRM? What kind of companies recruit and what are the packages offered?

I have a friend at XLRI. According to him, placement at XLRI depends upon the following few criteria.

• Companies visiting the campus for the recruitment process during summer and final placement sessions.
• Your overall academic profile.
• The way you perform in your summer internship, which can fetch you placement offers at the same company.
• Duration and place of your work experience (if any).
• You can get placed if you win any of the company-organized competitions.

Top recruiters at XLRI include Boston consulting group, Hindustan Unilever, Accenture strategy, and Microsoft, offering roles majorly in consulting, BFSI, Sales, and marketing.

Profiles Offered:

If your niche is Human Resources, there are various job roles including HR business partner, Change Agent, HdR generalist, HR consultant. You could even consider moving into general management roles if the company is willing to offer that role to HRM students. 

In the worst-case scenario, if you fail to get placed at your dream company, the alumni network of XLRI is strong enough for you to fetch new opportunities.
