Remarks :
The admission process was smooth. I came through KCET and the required documents were asked by the college I submitted the cutoff for my branch was 28000. Reservation through KCET is taken. The admission process was smooth but took a bit longer.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course for the sake of Electronics. The teachers are good and knowledgeable where most of them have done their PhDs and the students' strength is around 60 per batch and later lateral entry students will also join.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Through KCET fee structure is around 80,000 per year. Ramaiah Institute of Technology provides a great scholarship for personal assistance, for projects, and even a mid-day meals scheme and encourages you to get placements. The college ranks top 1 in private colleges in Karnataka according to NIRF, so a lot of companies come here for hiring.
Campus Life :
Fest happens annually every year but for our batch unfortunately it didn't because of COVID. But we had Kannada Rajyostava, SHOUTOUT is a theatre fest, and UDBHAV is the biggest fest in the entire annual year. Sports are encouraged a lot, and the class is good. There are lots of different clubs and people from all across India can be seen where social life is also very good.
Hostel Facilities :
I live in the Aryabhatta hostel of the Ramaiah Institute of Technology. The hostel is quite good and justifying for the cost I pay for. There is a good Wi-Fi connection too. Meals are good enough. Registration is also a smooth process.
