Remarks :

Students have to appear for NMAT which is specially organized by NMIMS University and different campuses have different cutoffs for NMAT. Once a student is eligible for a campus, he/she has to sit for 2 rounds of interviews usually, the GD round or a written test on an impromptu topic and an interview round. Students are marked accordingly and sent an offer letter. Any student having a UG degree in any course is eligible to apply and the application form is released by the university in around August followed by which NMAT starts which happens on different dates until January.

Course Curriculum Overview :

NMIMS Bangalore has excellent faculty having full-time corporate experiences because of which they can bring their real-time experiences to the classroom. Faculties teach through a case-based curriculum which helps a student get a taste of actual field problems. The term exams and the mid-term examinations are really helpful for a person to improve and understand where each one is lacking and usually, there is one set of mid-term and one set of end-term that students have to appear for in 3 months. It might seem frequent but it helps in scoring an overall good credit score for each student. Faculties are always present for doubt clearing.

Internships Opportunities :

Good internship opportunities with an average stipend of 40,000 are offered with 100% placements and companies like VMWare, Adobe, Dell, ICIC Bank, Big Basket, and many other eminent companies come on campus for internships every year.

Placement Experience :

Internships and Final placements go on for the junior and senior batch in NMB together starting from the month of September-October and eminent companies like Infosys, MTR, Salesforce, ICICI Bank, Dell, Adobe, Crisil, JP Morgan and Chase, etc. coming in the campus every year with an average salary package of 14LPA for the final placements and an average stipend of 40000 for internships. NMIMS Bangalore offers 100% placements both for Final as well as internship placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are pretty decent for such an excellent college. There is no such fee hike as such and financial assistance is also accordingly provided if needed. NMIMS Bangalore offers 100% placements both in terms of internships and final placements with excellent companies such as ICICI Bank, Dell, Adobe, MTR, Infosys, Salesforce, and many such excellent companies coming on campus every year with an average package of 14 LPA offered by them.

Campus Life :

Annual fests such as the Management Conclave, and NFluence take place every year for students from inside and outside the college to participate. An opportunity to listen to eminent speakers, not only during the management fests but also at huge events like TEDx and Business Conclave is a delightful and mesmerizing experience for all. Not only this, students get an excellent taste of event management while organizing such events. Books are available from the library for free for the 1st year and the classrooms have the provision of smartboards, whiteboards, charging ports for mobiles and laptops, and ACs for a hassle-free learning experience. Every year NSL is organized in NMIMS Bangalore by the sports committee which gives students the to test their skills in sports like football, cricket, carrom, poker, TT, badminton, and many more. Committees and clubs dedicated to various activities of the college also help students to hone their skills across multiple domains as needed.

College analysis for MBA

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose MBA in finance because I did my under graduation program in Bcom Accounting & Finance and my area of interest is in finance. Faculty-student ratio is good and the staff is well experienced and each of them has completed their Ph.D. in their own stram. Every faculty has enough corporate experience to train the student according to the requirements of the corporate world. The college uses TAP - R model which means subjects are divided into 4 blocks. Each block has 3 papers and end of each block an exam is conducted. After the completion of four blocks, the semester exam is conducted. It is easy to pass if we attend the class regularly.
