Remarks :
The admission is done merit-based according to the 12th percentage you get a seat. The eligibility for general students is 60% above and for SC/ST is 55% I guess (don't remember the exact %]. The application form will be available under the SAMS portal (only the general courses). You just need to fill out the same form, for which the application fees will be Rs. 275/- for the general govt. aided courses and for the self-financing courses and integrated BA BeD and BSc BeD courses one needs to visit the Ravenshaw Official website for the application form and the fees for the same are Rs. 500/- each.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose English literature because I have an interest in the field of literature. the faculty in Ravenshaw is very good. they are very friendly too. You cam get proper guidance from them. we also have regular classes conducted. exams are conducted as in 2 internal (sems) and 2 external exams (that are sems) per year and it is quite easy.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have no proper knowledge of this as I haven't applied any. but if one takes an integrated course then he/she may get an internship by the last year with a good stipend and teaching experience. By last year the b.ed students got internships in nearby schools for 1 month.
Campus Life :
Campus life is too good in Ravenshaw. it is just like any private university. sometimes it also gives me DU VIBES. but jokes apart its a very big campus with lots and lots of clubs and fests and seminars are also conducted. film society is also there. and many more literary clubs are also present. one who is fond of taking part in social or curricular activities would love to study at this college.
