Remarks :

Eligibility of the course is we have to clear JEE mains and should have passed class 12th. Application forms for JEE mains are available on the NTA website when the applications get started. After clearing JEE mains when should I have to apply for JoSAA counseling in which he or she must have to fill in the institute in his or her preference list? Your rank matches the criteria then you will get the institute after the declaration of the JoSAA result there are 6 rounds in JoSAA.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose chemical engineering as its curriculum is light as compared to other branches. Faculty to faculty-to-faculty-to-student ratio is nice in the college. Faculties in the institute are highly qualified they have published many research papers and the teaching method is very good except few professors. Exams are held in a specific time gap and we can easily pass them by studying a week or 2 before the exam but if you don't study then it will be hard to pass the exam.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 103666 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are good enough with an average stipend of 50000 this year. But the thing is you should have to maintain a good CGPA to get an internship. Sometimes only 10 to 15 students got internships from the strength of 60.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible to sit in the placements in the 8th semester. A lot of companies visited in campus and a lot of offers were made to them. A few names are Microsoft, Expedia, Sprinkler, Google, etc. The highest package offered this year was 1.38 crores given by A10 networks which was an international offer for software developers. The average package offered was 20.3 lakhs per annum. 88% of students got placed this year. After getting the degree I will join PSU through GATE or campus placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are decided on the basis of your category and your family income. Fees remain constant throughout the course. There are many scholarships that are provided by many organizations but you have to fulfill the criteria to get them. And there are no jobs available for students inside the campus.

Campus Life :

The annual fest of the college is CULRAV which is held in the month of April and the technical fest of the college is AVISHKAR which is held in the month of October or November. The library of the college is very big and occupied with a huge collection of books. One can find the books of their curriculum and journals in the library. Most of the classrooms are well furnished with inbuild projectors but there are some classrooms which have bad conditions.

Hostel Facilities :

Rooms provided in the first year are good but the conditions go down in the second and third years. Food provided in the mess is edible type. Registration for a hostel is done at the time of physical registration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because my family wants me to become an engineer. So I chose electrical engineering student because I have an idea in my mind to do something big in this field. Here the faculties are very good and for electrical engineering, it is awesome. All the teachers are good. So if you want to know about students ratio then you'll see girls are very low. If you ask me about mine then in my batch only 24 girls are there out of 150 boys. Here most of the faculties are from IITs or NITs and PhD holders. if you'll ask me to rate the course and faculty I'll give you 8 /10. Here exams are held semester vice. And CTS are also there

IIT Kanpur : Overly underrated

Placement Experience:

You get placed in your 4th year and the highest package was off campus around 4 cr and on campus was 2.4 cr and the average is 18 LPA around. If you sit for placement with a decent prep you are most likely to get placed. And yup I too am hoping for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical things so I decided to opt for it. The faculty of the electrical engineering branch is well qualified there are lots of professors who graduated from IITs if we talk about the student ratio it is equal to a ratio of 1:84. Every two months minor exam is held and It is quite difficult to pass if you are not prepared from the start. After two minor exams, there is a final exam held called majors in which the full syllabus of the semester is asked.
