Remarks :
To avail of this course in this college applicant must take the Jee mains exam. Based on the percentile obtained you get admission to this college. For Chemical engineering percentile should be approximately between 98 to 96 for the general category, for other castes this percentile comes down subsequently.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because the college is very famous as well as the placement opportunities are very good. The faculty ratio is good as it is 1:20 approx. The teachers here are qualified very well as this college is of national importance so the teachers are recruited by a tough procedure. The teaching method is the same as the other colleges and is according to the new education policy. The exams are conducted timely and are not very difficult to pass. Each semester there are 2 exams mid and end.
Internships Opportunities :
Our college provides a good internship opportunity and many companies visit the campus for internships. Microsoft Amazon Sprinkler Goldman Sachs Dloit etc visit the campus for internship. The stipend varies from 1.5 lac to 40k per month. For an internship opportunity, you should have good skills and a resume and cgpa above a certain criteria.
Placement Experience :
Students after completing 4th semester become eligible for on-campus internships and after completion of 3rd year, they become eligible for placements. Many companies visit the campus such as Google Microsoft, Amazon, etc. and the highest package offer was 1.85 cr which was the international package. Placement percentage is 60-70 percent. After getting my college degree I will try to secure a job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As it is a government college the fees here are comparatively less than those of private institutes. The Fees are increased according to the government policies. Job opportunities are very vast according to the placement data and the highest package is also very good as compared to other colleges.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very happening. You get to experience many fests and many functions in which you are either organizing or as an attendee. The college's biggest cultural fest is Culrav which happens every year and the tech fest is Avishkar. Both the fest takes place on a big scale and is organized by the student body itself, funded by the college. The central library is also full of books and you get almost every book. Classrooms are also air-conditioned and the infrastructure of the college is also average. Sports and extracurricular activities happen very frequently and are also very fun. Many clubs and committees are running in the college which includes both tech and cultural. Above all, you will get to explore various things and get to experience fields of your interest.
Hostel Facilities :
For boys, there are many hostels and for girls, there are 4-5 hostels. Almost everyone secures an accommodation on the campus itself. New hostels are also building and the older ones are also gradually being renovated. The mess food is okay and the registration process is not hectic and is easily done simultaneously with the admission in college. The condition of the older hostel is a matter of concern.
