Remarks :
The admission process for mnnit is through josaa which is applicable for all nits and iits. There is a 50 percent home state reservation and the remaining 50 percent is an India quota. There is a general reservation quota related to SC, ST, OBC, pwd, and ews candidates. The admission process is on a merit basis and based on the number of students who applied. Course Curriculum Overview :
From the academic batch of 2022 new education policy is implemented. So the syllabus which was there prior is discarded and you will have to study the sub related to your branch from 1st sem itself. There are also options for extra activity subjects in which students can decide which to select. The ece branch provides you with an excellent overview of hardware as well as software knowledge. I dont think that there is such so difference between cse and ECE branches will little hard work ECE so students can excel in cse branch.
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies across various sectors come to recruit students across all branches for internship opportunities. The average time duration of the internship is 6 weeks to 12 weeks. The stipend that students get varies between 75000 to 150000 for each month. The internship season starts generally at the end of the 6th sem. Many students get PPO immediately after an internship. Companies like d Shaw, Deloitte, Amazon, Google, Uber, Zomato, Qualcomm, intel Accenture, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank Infosys, TCS, and many other companies in various fields come for placement.
Placement Experience :
This clg is particularly known for its best placement opportunity. In iits and nits, it stands overall in 6th position in terms of placement opportunity. It is one of the best colleges in north India to provide excellent placement opportunities. Averagely from every branch, there is more than 90 percent of students get placed. The highest package here goes up to in crores for cse students and the median package is 27 laks for ece highest package goes upto 80 laks and median package is 23 lals. For other branches, the highest package is up to 50 laks and the average package varies between 12-17 laks.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure of the college includes academic, hostel, and mess fees. The mess fees here are 25000, the hostel is 12000, and the academic including tuition and other expenses is 81500rs all for one sem. The above-mentioned fees are for a general student whose annual parental income is above 8 lakhs. For the category and economically weaker section, there is a scholarship that is applicable for tuition fees mess and hostel fees are excluded from it.
Campus Life :
The campus life at MNNIT is moderate. Here you will get all sorts of clubs from technical to nontechnical, cultural and sports clubs. There are many fests and competitions going on around the clock the whole year. In short, clg provides you with an excellent platform from which you can develop and grow yourself. The first festival when you come to college is swagat. This College is among very few in this country in which students from the first year only organize a cultural event from for themselves.
Hostel Facilities :
There are a total of 8 boys' hostel and 3 girls' hostel which is in the campus itself. For first-year boys, svbh is allocated in which there are 3 students per room, and for girls, dj is located in which there is the same strength of 3 girls per room. In the second year, boys get either Patel or Tilak hostel in which strength is 2 students per room for girls kngh and dj are allocated and the strength is 2 and 3 girls respectively. The point to note here is the hostel choices are to be submitted by students and hostels are allocated on a CPI basis.
