I was interested in semiconductors so I chose this course. There are so many Ph.D. holder professors from well-known colleges in India and foreign. they help every student in the study and the teaching way of professors of my college so good .faculty student ratio is good. exams are held 2 times in a semester of 6 months and 2 quizzes are held of every subject. and lab viva is held one time in a semester. Exams are not too difficult if you are studying continuously.
Overall college was good but not as infrastructure-wise but placement-wise, I chose the ECE branch because there. There is lots of scope in that branch like if we want to go into the software we are eligible for a software company if we want placement in the core, we opt for it easily, and the faculties are good, and some professors have a very kind nature mid-sem and end-sem also occurred on time and they were moderate.
I have chosen this stream because it was allotted to me after the counseling of josaa according to my rank and I also have an interest in electronics which is why I have chosen this branch NITs are colleges in the top 5 according to NirF ranking. The faculty in our college is good faculties for different subjects as they have specialisation in that subject Dus student student-to-faculty ratio is 100 to 7 . During a semester total of three exams are taken one is the mid-sem exams other are practicals exams and the last end-sem examinations and various quizzes are also taken in between the classes.
I chose this course because of this college's reputation and the very vast placement opportunities. It is the number one NIT in terms of placements. All the teachers are highly qualified in their respective fields. Exams are taken very timely and it is not much of a difficult task to pass the exam if you are a sincere student.
I chose this course because I am very passionate about this. There are adequate faculty members in a particular branch. There are 2-3 professors teaching you the subject in your class. All the professors mostly are Ph.D. graduates, and the faculty also does research work while teaching us. We can approach them anytime to clear our doubts. There are officially Two exams mid and another one end is end examination in every semister. Quizzes are kept on by professors depending on how they divide their internal marks. Well now coming to pass the examination it's not too difficult nor too easy to pass, one needs to learn the concept perfectly. Questions are given from the topics discussed in class.
I am interested in ECE so chose it and there is an excellent faculty member in this college. There is 30 student per faculty member and all faculty members have completed their PHD from a reputed college. All exams are completed timely.
The course curriculum is well designed and focuses on to get a deep knowledge of your applied course from the very begining we follow NEP every year to get updated on our course alongside we are taught another subjects like DSA which further more helps in to get placed in MNC's and many more subjects whichs helps to build a student profile like ethics and communication skills. Faculty mebers are really kind and very helpful yes some of them are really strict but yes they help you to get a habit of how office cultures loo like and how your managers or your boss will behave to you.
The course curriculum is led more towards a focus on increment of students critical thinking towards the subject and after the implementation of the New Education Policy(NEP 2020) students can dedicate their interest in choosing other branches subject as elective every semester like considering my example according to my CPI a subject from civil department allotted to me named GEOinformatics which lead me to study different concepts with respect to mine ECE course, I choose ECE course because it creates a better chance for me to prepare for goverment services with taking in regards of placement side by side, Faculty to student ratio in mnnit is more based about which branch you are like my branch for every 70 student there 1 faculty but for branch like biotechnology there total strength is about 50 students, in mnnit teacher were highly qualified with mostly 10+ year experience and teaching method is pretty mood depended, term exam were every 2.5 month and it's not difficult if you are prepared.
I chose this course as I am very interested in the field of electronics and communication and I had heard that this college is very good for ECE. I also have an aspiration to join the IES and this college has a very good record in that exam. The faculty to student is quite good its around 1:20. The faculties are highly educated people holding PHDs in various fields and have a very good teaching method, except for some exceptions. This college conducts 2 exams every semester, the exams are quite easy to clear.
From the academic batch of 2022 new education policy is implemented. So the syllabus which was there prior is discarded and you will have to study the sub related to your branch from 1st sem itself. There are also options for extra activity subjects in which students can decide which to select. The ece branch provides you with an excellent overview of hardware as well as software knowledge. I dont think that there is such so difference between cse and ECE branches will little hard work ECE so students can excel in cse branch.
IIIT Hyderabad ECE will be a better option. It offers better facilities and opportunities compared to MNNIT Allahabad.
Due to the locational advantage and the exposure, IIIT Hyderabad ECE will be a better option.
There are several professors in the ECE department of MNNIT Allahabad who are excellent in their teaching and lectures for students. These teachers help the students not only in the curriculum but in works related to research and provide other institutional facilities too.
One such example of such a professor is Prof. Amit Dhawan. The point below gives a brief overview of Prof. Dhawan’s characteristics.
These are some of the key highlights of Prof. Amit Dhawan’s lectures, which most students in ECE and also students from other departments in MNNIT Allahabad are well aware of.
MNNIT Allahabad is better for ECE. The department has a great faculty and the professors are helpful. The ECE department has many clubs and societies such as Robotics Club and Electronics Society. These clubs have various ongoing research projects. The faculties also take part actively in these projects.
Although the core job opportunities are not too encouraging, few companies do take part in the placements drive. In the past students got internship opportunities in companies such as Qualcomm, Samsung, Airtel, etc. Many IT companies also recruit ECE students. According to the recent highlights of MNNIT Allahabad placements, the highest CTC offered to ECE students is around INR 51 LPA.
My cousin belongs to the 2020 batch of B.tech at MNNIT Allahabad. Goldman Sachs visited the campus for an internship for their batch. The general selection criteria for this internship are:
If you are preparing for getting selected at Goldman Sachs, just focus on your problem-solving and coding skills. Also in their technical round, you will be asked Quant questions that are very hard if you lack practice in that. Yes, Quant questions are the type of questions that are asked in CAT exams.
However, it is quite common to see students with a CPI of 8 or higher being selected most. This is the harsh truth, thus you might see your name in the first shortlist but not in the second list as your CPI is lower. Hence, work hard enough to get a CPI of 8 or higher and emphasize more and more on your coding skills as the coding exam for Goldman is very tough.
If you are trying to compare two colleges, such as NSIT and DTU, it is recommended to choose the one that is closer to your place. This will make it easier for you to commute, save time, and avoid any unnecessary expenses related to travel and accommodation.
However, when it comes to comparing NSUT (NSIT) and MNNIT Allahabad, NSUT (NSIT) does have an advantage. NSUT (NSIT) is considered one of the top engineering colleges in India, known for its excellent infrastructure, faculty, and research facilities. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering, science, and technology.
On the other hand, MNNIT Allahabad is also a reputed engineering college but is located in a smaller city as compared to NSUT (NSIT). The city may not offer the same exposure and opportunities that Delhi can provide, especially in terms of internships, industrial visits, and campus placements.
Therefore, if you have the option to choose between NSUT (NSIT) and MNNIT Allahabad, it may be advisable to opt for NSUT (NSIT) if you are looking for a top-tier engineering college in a metropolitan city. However, this decision ultimately depends on your individual preferences and priorities, and you should weigh all the factors before making a final decision.
