Remarks :
You need to clear JEE Mains to get admitted into the Institute. Then one needs to secure a seat in the college through choice filling in JoSAA. Application fees are adjusted in the fee of the first semester. Dates of application vary according to the JEE schedule. Reservation is applicable as per JoSAA rules.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It was the best course to opt in my rank. A faculty teaches around 60-70 students. The curriculum is good and hectic too. Faculties are well qualified with Ph. D.s and patents. The teaching methodology of most of the faculties is fine. Exams happen from time to time and for passing them just go through the notes made during the classes.
Internships Opportunities :
Microsoft, Amazon, Texas Instrumentations, etc. companies visit the college for internships. Anyone with intermediate knowledge of DSA along with a couple of projects is good enough to at least secure an internship.
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible from the 5th semester itself for placements. 100+ companies visit the college including Amazon, Atlassian, Microsoft, etc. Highest package-52lpa, average package -13.8lpa. 100% of students got offers.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee hike isn't applicable right now. Many scholarships for reserved, female and ews candidates. Financial assistance is given to those who need it by the college and also NGOs. Placements are pretty well.
Campus Life :
Corona and Melange is the annual Techno cultural fest of the college. The library is pretty diverse with almost all genres of books present. Classrooms are fully AC with gold furniture whiteboards and projectors. The sports culture is good with teams participating in inter-NITs. There are many clubs so a wide range of extracurricular activities from which one can choose.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels from the second year are good. Meals are average. Menu is good. Registration is very easy, one just needs to submit the printout of the Fee receipt and registration form. Hostels are pretty affordable as compared to other PGs.
