Eligibility is You should clear the jee exam with 95+ percentile(if you are general category), or 90+ percentile(if you have any reservation quota) with a minimum of 75% in class 12. Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I had an interest in it. The faculty and students ratio would be 1 : 3 (approx), considering that there are 50+ faculty members for 200 students in the department. Faculty are highly qualified and have great knowledge. Need to attend classes regularly to understand better what going on in class. Some of them are friendly in nature and some are strict. There are basically 3 theory exams for a subject per semester(CA1, Midsem, Endsem).
Internships Opportunities :
For internship opportunities, many big companies come such as Microsoft, cisco, salesforce, Texas Instruments, Bny Mellon, adobe, etc. The stipend varies from company to company. The internship process starts at the starting of the 5th semester.
Placement Experience :
For internships At the start of 3rd year, companies come to the college for a summer internship program and one can also apply off campus. For placements Companies start coming from the very first month of your fourth year. Highest package(2022-23):70 lakhs. Average package(2022-23):13.5 lakhs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For general category students, academic fees are around 72K (approx), and for students with a reservation quota(SC,st,obc) or students with family income less than 1 lakh fees are around 14k(approx). Refer to the college website for more details or any kind of fee hike.
Campus Life :
There are basically 2 fests, one is tech fest (Aarohan) and another one is cultural ( Recstacy) which is the 2nd largest cultural fest in eastern India. The library is very good and you can find all the books there. 2 grounds are there for sports and extracurricular activities.
