Remarks :

A score above 98 percentile in JEE MAIN and no need for JEE Advanced. Application form JOSAA and CSAB. Yes cast certificate can be used for reservation. No need but I advise you to choose the nearest college in your state.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Electronics and communication technology is the future of this world. I am interested in robotics and communication technology. And faculty of the ECE department here is very nice and the average placement is very good faculty-student ratio is 1:10. Faculties are highly qualified in the research domain. We give two exams per semester mid-term and end-term and class assignments. The midterm difficulty level is medium and the end-term exam difficulty level is hard.

Internships Opportunities :

We get so many internship opportunities through many companies. Generally, companies started coming in the 4th semester like Microsoft, jpmc, tacses. There is a test round and personal interview to get an internship.

Placement Experience :

We are eligible for our placement in the 7th semester. Microsoft gives the highest package of 50 lacs and jpmc gives the highest package of 33 lacs. 90 percent of students get placed. My plans are to get placed in an IT company after the placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee reservations are also available for OBC, and sc/st cast as per the income they pay, there are some categories like 1lacs to 5 lacs, they have to pay 34000 and those have income per year less than 1 lacs only pay 16300rupees per semester. As NT Durgapur is in West Bengal, there are some special benefits to the West Bengal students but also those will also get scholarships according to their state-provided or not they have to just verify whether he/she is from NIT Durgapur or not.

Campus Life :

The annual cultural fest of our college is Recstacy and the tech fest is Aarohan, TEDx. These fest happens in April month. Almost every needed book is available in the central library of the college. We have an AC classroom for students and single branch-type chairs in the classroom. There are so many sports activities like kabbadi, khokho, badminton, cricket, volleyball, football and others. In every sport one team is made every year which participates in inter NIT. There are student clubs like CCA, recursion, IEEE SB NIT DGP, and SAE( tech club). There are cultural clubs like music club, dance club, interact, speakeasy Hindi club, darpan, and tech environment club Prakriti.

Hostel Facilities :

Three students get alloted one room and in each room, there are three almari and three study tables and chairs and three study lamps, two tubes, light three metal beds, and two fans. Meal quality is average and the menu is good. We have to pay the online hostel fee payment on the college website Chanakya and provide the documents in the office room like three passport-size photos and I'd card photo mess fee payment documents for hostel registration.

The Good college and very good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good on the campus GKCIET especially trains and encourages the students to sit for internships and placements. A student is eligible to sit for the internships at the beginning of the third and placements from the beginning of the third and placements from beginning of the final year .. a student can manage to get a PPO after completing the internship in the 3 rd which is also encouraged by the student. The other criteria regarding placements and intership are quite well-defined in the GKCIET

Life in Durgapur

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the profile came to know that the professor of this college is very good for the mechanical branch the faculty and student ratio is good for the study of the student qualification of the faculty and review teacher is like that they are good in English and they no proper way of teaching the timing of the term of the exam is first exam is midterm in which the question is of 25 marks and we have to give at least 20 marks answer it is conducted after 3 months of the beginning of the course and after the midterm exam there is another in term exam.
