Remarks :

I have passed the Jee mains examination and qualified for the exam. the cut off was 79% for OBC. The application process was quite good. They have been given 3 consecutive days to give physical reporting. All the application forms fees structures dates are set by the college through the mail by reservation category we have a reduction in fees need to improve anything but I think they should give us some more days to attend the physical reporting

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose mechanical because I have a passion for this course. for every 10 students, there is a faculty member to guide. all the faculty members are highly educated many of them are from abroad also. All of them have completed their mtech and PG also For every 6 months semester end-term examination is conducted. For the starting 3 months mid term examination is conducted which is of 25 marks class assignment is conducted for 15 marks. The end term is for 60 marks

Class Size : 92Course Fees : INR 32600 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Wipro, Microsoft, Amazon etc. companies have given internships and the stipend is based on the companies and branches we belong to also the projects are based on the core we belong to. But the internship program goes well compared to the previous years

Placement Experience :

From the 6th semester placements start. More than 800 students are placed and the placement percentage is 86%. the highest package is 50 lakhs which Is from the metallurgy branch Many big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, blackbug, Wipro etc. have come for placements. I have to do ms in abroad

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For OBC the fee is 16300 if we have an income certificate of less than 1 lakh. if it is more than 5 lakhs the fees may vary from 50k to 60k. I think the cost of Stufy is good compared to other colleges. Nsp, Sitaram Jindal etc scholarships are provided and they are also sent through the mail

Campus Life :

Arohan is the annual fest and Recstacy is the tech fest they are generally conducted in the months of January and June. there is a central library which has more than 1000 books. Sac auditorium is there and there is a gym for both girls and boys extra curricular activities are also conducted. clubs like IEEE, SAE, Prakriti, and ISTE all are the best clubs and societies are also there

Hostel Facilities :

For every room 3 members are given. There are 6 boys hostel and 3 girls hostels. For every room they have given 3 beds, 2 fans ,3 cupboards and 3 study tables for each student .the quality of mess food is quite not that much. Registration process is done on the same day of physical reporting only. The hostels are present inside the campus only there is a boundary for the hostel

The Good college and very good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good on the campus GKCIET especially trains and encourages the students to sit for internships and placements. A student is eligible to sit for the internships at the beginning of the third and placements from the beginning of the third and placements from beginning of the final year .. a student can manage to get a PPO after completing the internship in the 3 rd which is also encouraged by the student. The other criteria regarding placements and intership are quite well-defined in the GKCIET

Life in Durgapur

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the profile came to know that the professor of this college is very good for the mechanical branch the faculty and student ratio is good for the study of the student qualification of the faculty and review teacher is like that they are good in English and they no proper way of teaching the timing of the term of the exam is first exam is midterm in which the question is of 25 marks and we have to give at least 20 marks answer it is conducted after 3 months of the beginning of the course and after the midterm exam there is another in term exam.
