Remarks :

You should have 60% in the 12th board (PCM). The application form can be found at the official website of IIIT i.e. iiit.ac.in. There are no reservations for this course only based on merit. No, the overall process is quite smooth, there are multiple modes of admission, so don't worry just study decently and you will be able to get in here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Because I like science and I want to do research in it I can get a Btech in CS which is in trend. the student-faculty ratio is around 1:10 to 1:20 so it is quite decent (there are over 100 faculty members and we are 1800 students) Almost all of the faculty members are Phd guys. It is tough to maintain your marks if you try to slack off so if you come to this college be prepared to study along with fun.

Class Size : 27Course Fees : INR 360000 per year

Placement Experience :

I don't know about the semester but for btech students, it is in the final year i.e. the fourth year and for dual degree students it is in the 5th year. Many companies come including Qualcomm, Apple, Microsoft, Google, etc. almost 100% of students get placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For 5 years around 25 to 30 Lakhs. there are many ways to earn money in this college once you get to 3rd year, so don't worry about it. and there is financial assistance for us so don't worry about that.

Campus Life :

Felicity is our annual Fest and it is conducted in Feb. there is also research showcasing each year(since we are famous for it). good collection of books . Not many sports are available but sufficient sports are available. and many activities go on throughout the year. we have a gaming club, dance club and many more.

Hostel Facilities :

Good than most of the colleges in India including even some of the IITs. Meal is almost better than all the hostels in India hostel rent is cheap but it is compulsory to live in hostels, so no day scholars.

Hostel Fee : INR 36000 per year

I want to study computer science so that why i choose cse.there are 1 teacher for every 20 students.the qualification of professors is mtech or PhD and have good experience.there will be 2 mid and 1 semester exams in 6 months

Camo placements are also good on this campus, they provide various types of placements here, there is a high percentage of students getting placed in a job in campus interviews and the average package is around 24 lpa, and the average packages with respect to different branches change accordingly.

Life of IITians

Placement Experience:

Almost 80% of students from our college get placed every yea. The average package was 27 lakhs per annum and the highest was 51 lakhs per annum recorded last year. We get placements in 7 th semester. I will take my job after I get placement. I would prefer to continue my job only after placement.

A college experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this to get a degree in computer science which I thought would be better for me. The course curriculum is good as of now. The faculty-and-student ratio is okay too. But all of the faculty here are contract-based I suppose but are of good knowledge. The faculty inspires students to gain knowledge and motivates them to be independent as much as possible. They train students to be disciplined and are strict in that term. The teachers are also well qualified and of a good experience. The term exams got postponed due to the weather conditions and state holidays but apart from that, every other exam is conducted timely. But I would blame the correction for the pass percentage of the students from the university, though you would find the paper to score well.
