Remarks :

They are well structured. But the cutoffs must be slightly higher so that, crowd could be meritorious & if possible viteee must have negative marking. Since, the input croud is high there is tough competition among all the branches.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since the crowd in vit is high, the student faculty ratio is high. The faculties are maximum PhD graduates and well experienced. There are two midterm exams (cat-1&2) and semister exams (fat) with some quizzes/da's in between. They are comparatively easier than 11th and 12th.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 450000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I heard from seniors that, Vit supports students in internships. They give us training for interviews and helps us to build our resume. Vit offers 1-3 months and semister internships to the students here.

Placement Experience :

For, Internships or jobs one can start right away from the first year itself if he is done with courses which are required to be eligible for. Many big companies come here like Microsoft, Google & even mass reciting is also done here. Placements are decent here, with average packages of 9.23 lpa

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is divided into catogeries based upon viteee ranks and competition for that particular course. Vit can be preferred upto category-3(tution fee -4.5 lakhs per year). Below that must not be considered

Campus Life :

There are many clubs, related to coding, drama, music, literature, stargazing, robotics and many more.And mainly there are two fests in vit namely RIVERA and GRAVITAS. They are good technical fests with lots and lots of energy and the main point is all the clubs are run by students

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are good. There are 18 boys hostels and 6 girls hostels. The meals are average (neither bad nor good) for many blocks. There's no ragging or water problems, students can live freely and comfortably

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech Food Technology is one of the best courses in TNAU. There are more food industries where we see. Even though we have opportunity in abroad. Max, there are 60 members per dept and have 9 subjects each subject there are min 2 faculties. Each faculties are qualified ph.d in those subjects they take. There is a mid-semester for each semester question papers will be easy to understand and easy to get good marks.
