Remarks :

Admission at NITJ is carried through a score of JEE Main. If you belong to Punjab then State Quota is there. The cutoff for Information Technology in another state (girls) was 22580 and for Home State, it was 24686. Counseling is held by josaa and then csab.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I'm interested in IT. The faculty-student ratio is pretty good. Faculties are PhD and their teaching method is also good. Exams were of medium level. Two exams mid-semester and end-semester.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 176000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are really good in our college. Many big tech companies visit our college for internships. Last year Amazon visited for an SDE profile with a stipend of 1,00,000. Microsoft also visited for the same.

Placement Experience :

In the final year, you are eligible to sit in placements. Many companies visit our college like Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman, TCS, etc highest package offered last year was 51 Lakh and the average was 14 lakhs. I want to pursue a career as a Software Developer.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is divided into three parts. One whose parents' income is less than 1 lakh another with 1 lac to 5 lac and another with more than 5 lacs. For general and above 5 lakhs the tuition fee is 62500 and other fee is 25500 so the total fee for one sem is 88000.

Campus Life :

There are two fests of NITJ - Techniti which is a techfest and Utkansh which is a cultural fest. Numerous books are available in the library. Classrooms are fully AC. Different sports meets are organized over the year. There are a lot of clubs in the college. There are two dance clubs, a music club, a dramatics club, a literary and debating club, a media cell, an e-cell, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

In one room there are two beds, two almirahs, two table and chair, mirrors are attached in almirahs, one fan . Meal is good. Registration process for hostel is very simple. After registration is done you have to visit the respective college and get your registration done there.
