Remarks

I applied for IP University and I got admission in Maharaja surajmal for bba and VIPs for eco hons but in spot round , I got cvs, du for bms. I chose this college becoz of the renowed name of University of delhi and professionalism of BMS course. No, I didn't got any rejected, I just applied for ipu and du, I got a seat in both of them For our college, we have to go for CUET test after which, there are various rounds to qualify for the admission and for ipu we have to give CET. I got admission in cvs for bms at 495 marks out of 650 in spot round 2. Admission process was not so much complex.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Total 75 students are there in BMS course and we have two specializations, finance and marketing, I have taken finance which has strength of 40. I du, we have dse as a specialisation. It is 1:6 for bms and for overall college it's unknown We have very good cultural diversity, students are there from almost 7 to 9 states like Bihar, up, mp and all. Ya peer groups are nice and it helps a lot No, as such we have no assembly of participation but the faculty obviously look for participation

Internships Opportunities

4

- in our college, we have whatsapp group of our placement cell called aspire, which posts all the internships. We can chose the internship we want and fill the necessary details - in summer internship programme, only 5 to 7 students got internship Others were using different platforms for finding internship - highest on record stipend is rs 30000 - we don't have any companies particularly coming to college

Placement Experience

4

As I am 2nd year student, I don't know about placement But I have friends which told me - placement starts around March - highest ctc was 21.5 lakh, average was 4.8lpa, and lowest was not disclosed -for our course, delloite, EY, deshaw and many more were preferable This scenario was of 2022 to 23 placement year

Fees and Financial Aid

For BMS Total fees is rs 40000 for whole course For 1st year, I paid rs 12830rs For 2nd year, I paid rs 13095 Fees is very less according to me, if I compare to ipu and other University, its very low. Also according to the fees, facilities are enough For ews, fees varies according to few slabs

Campus Life

4

- Sports facilities are pretty good Football and cricket team's are there in our college -no gym -no swimming pool -instead of Audi, we have a average size hall and a. Amphitheater These two are used for all the events Library is good, I also gathered all the books in 1st two sems from it. No third party database available -the college campus is of an average size which contains a ground,3 buildings, Amphitheater and a seminar hall -Overall campus life is good, the fees defines it's facilities but as a du college it can have a better infra No nightlife No hangout The area is safe because it's in one of the Porsche area of delhi We have our fest named tatva, it's very attractive and mind blowing fest. Various societies showcase their talent, also our college welcomes other colleges to participate in it.

Hostel Facilities

4

- no hostel facilities -we only have pg and flats Near most area is malviya nagar and Chirag dilli For pg, prices are 6000 to 22000, depends on area and facilities Flats are little more expensive I am a day scholar So I travel around 1.5 hr to reach college Girls and boys pg are separately also available - no hostel facilities -we only have pg and flats Near most area is malviya nagar and Chirag dilli For pg, prices are 6000 to 22000, depends on area and facilities Flats are little more expensive I am a day scholar So I travel around 1.5 hr to reach college Girls and boys pg are separately also available

Exam Structure

Their were no gd or pi rounds in this college. Now it's CUET exam for du, for attaining CVS and BMS , 525 is a safe score. First round is where we fill our application Second round is for preference filling in which there is order in which, we have to fill out colleges we prefer in preference order No management quota is there in du colleges

There is no placements provided by the college. In 2021, it organised a placement for final year students but don't know the data of placement. It was conducted for Gitarattan public school placement. And everyone doesn't get placed. In 2024, no such things happens so I can say that no placement is provided there. *Attaching the photo of SEP as there is no Placements done.*

Placement Experience:

1. Placement Timeline: Final placements typically start in late January or early February and continue until the end of March. The process usually takes about two to three months to complete. 2. Placement Success Rate: While most students do get placed, about 10-15% may remain unplaced during final placements. To assist those unplaced, the college offers additional workshops, personalized mentoring, and access to companies that may not participate in the main placement drive. 3. CTC Offered: Average CTC: Approximately ₹6-8 LPA. Highest CTC: Can reach up to ₹20 LPA, especially from leading consulting and tech firms. Lowest CTC: Some students may accept offers around ₹3-4 LPA, particularly in smaller companies or startups. 4. Preferred Companies: Most preferred companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and various consulting firms like Deloitte and Accenture. The average CTC from these companies typically ranges from ₹6-10 LPA. 5. Bulk Hiring Companies: Companies like Cognizant, TCS, and Wipro are known for bulk hiring. These companies generally offer average CTCs of around ₹6-8 LPA. 6. Role of the Placement Committee: The placement committee is responsible for coordinating the placement process, inviting companies, conducting mock interviews, and providing guidance to students. While the process is generally transparent, some students feel that it could be improved, particularly regarding information sharing about job roles and company profiles. Overall, transparency is moderate but could benefit from clearer communication.

As am from second year I don't know much about placements. about the placement committee they are not that active that you can rely on them for placements. mostly students build profiles on linkedin and stay updated with the recruitments going on. Also sessions and seminars are conducted for profile building that are good. As of 2023, highest package was of around 37 lacs and an average package of around 6 to 7 lacs. the specialisations offered with this course are HR, FINANCE AND MARKETING.

Placement Experience:

After the completion of final semester exams the final placement starts. It takes around a month for placement to officially get over. Around 10-15% students get final placement and the others don't. The college provides placement opportunity for many many years to ex students as well. The average ctc is around 3-4Lpa, the hightest is around 12Lpa and the lowest can go to 1-1.5 Lpa. Amazon, delloite etc are the most proffered ones don't know about their avg ctc. The placement committee has a strong role in guiding students and giving them opportunity in the placement drive of the college, it also provides many mock interview practices and expert counselling to know more about placements and yes the process is 100% transparent.
