We expect to award a doctoral studentship in Business Studies, with research activities focussed on an area reflecting the Public Value context of the School.
Applications would be particularly welcome that look at Public Value within the business community and the economic value that this brings to the economy of Wales. Access to, and involvement with, theÊInstitute of DirectorsÊwill be welcomed and encouraged as part of your research plans.
Research is at the centre ofÊCardiff Business School's activities. Cardiff Business School is ranked 6th in the UK for the quality of its research in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF) and one of only two business schools in the UK to be ranked in the top ten in each of the GovernmentÕs five assessment exercises since 1992. Research is conducted both within the Schools' sub-disciplinary groups as well as via specialist and multidisciplinary research centres. Cardiff Business School has an international faculty of world-leading scholars and its research reputation has helped it become an attractive centre of scholarship for colleagues from the UK and beyond.

Academic Requirements:

Applicants should complete a bachelor’s degree or masters degree in relevant subject
Official transcripts of all the previous academic experience
Students should provide evidence of previous research experience

English Language Requirements:

IELTS Academic: 6.5 minimum overall with minimum of 5.5 in each subskill
PTE Academic: Atleast 69 overall with minimum of 59 in communicative skills
TOEFL IBT: minimum 90 overall with scores of 17 in writing, 17 in listening, 18 in reading and 20 for speaking
