Doctor of Philosophy [Ph.D] (Chemistry)
STEM Course
4 years
Full Time
Field of Study:
- The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Catalysis (CDT) is hosted by Bath, Bristol and Cardiff Universities. It has been established to provide PhD training across heterogeneous, homogeneous catalysis and reaction engineering in a growing and constantly evolving field of Chemistry.Ê
- The CDT is empowering postgraduates to develop an advanced knowledge of traditional and emerging catalysis disciplines, with an indepth understanding of industry and global contexts. Alongside a comprehensive training programme, we help support our students to become leaders in research.Ê
- This is a completely unique programme designed across three Universities, each with their own speciality in catalysis and a strong focus on industrial needs and requirements for the future.
- Graduates from the CDT are equipped with the technical and professional skills to help drive and grow the UK catalysis sector as well as support the needs of UK industry.
Its aim was to address some of societyÕs biggest challenges through catalysis:
- clean energy generation
- environmental clean-up of air
- water and sustainable manufacturing
