Master of Science in Electrical Automotive Engineering at Coventry University is a 1-year (3 Semesters) research-intensive program.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
This program is also offered on a part-time basis for a duration of 2 years.
The first semester focuses on electrical machines, power semiconductors, automotive sensors, and automotive electronics.
The second semester concentrates on automotive cybersecurity, automotive networking, energy storage, and entrepreneurship.
In the final semester, students will perform a detailed research project or design study in a technical aspect of the course with the help of an experienced supervisor.
The course will be taught by lectures, laboratory practical hands-on exercises, and simulated laboratory exercises.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have a minimum of a 2:2 honours degree in a mechanical or automotive engineering subject.
Students from graduates in electrical and electronic engineering, computer hardware and software engineering and other related technical subjects such as mathematics or physics, would also be considered.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:

Completed a 4-year bachelor's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Or, completed a B.Sc/B.Com/B.A (3-4 year) degree from well-ranked institutions with an overall grade of 70%.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.

Because Coventry as a place had a rich history of automobiles. U.K. being the third best country in the world for the development of EV infrastructure was the most appropriate choice.
