There a lot of tech companies visiting campus like Amazon, twitter, Microsoft, Google etc for careers fairs and events. There is no placement process and you have to apply to companies individually. Although it is fairly easy to get a job in the top companies.
Internship
I got an internship with Amazon in the summer of 2021. The salary is £3400/month with a £1000/month stipend. I had to apply on the Amazon website for the internship and had to pass an online assessment and a virtual onsite interview.

Almost all students get placed in top law firms. The law fairs held each year enable students to get in touch with potential recruiters at a very early stage and also help secure internships or vacation schemes.
I wanted to pursue a law degree in the UK and UoE has a high ranking in almost all lists.
Internship
I believe they do, although I am unsure as I have yet to attempt to access alleged internship opportunities and places as I am only in my first year currently. Possibly these are queries more suitable for later years of study.
Location is great as I now am in an English speaking environment studying English and Linguistics, Rating is also important as it marks high for both the quality of the university and my course which in itself ranks top in the world.
Placement
I am still undertaking this program so I don't really have any comments on this question. Maybe I can send some updated information once I graduate.
