- The Brunel Finance and Investment MSc gives graduates the advanced knowledge and skills needed to pursue careers in financial management, with a focus on investment analysis and portfolio management.
- In addition to core subjects including financial theory, financial markets, and corporate finance, students will examine in detail financial modeling, investment strategies, performance evaluation, risk assessment, investment valuation, and asset pricing.
- Further, students develop their quantitative and problem-solving skills and ability to critically evaluate and deliver midterm and long-term strategic solutions.
- Throughout the course, students will have access to a variety of professional databases used in business and finance including Datastream, Bloomberg, Fitch, Osiris, Reuters 3000 Xtra, and Thomson One Banker.
- This course can be studied 1 year full-time, 16 months full-time with placement, or 2 years full-time with placement, starting in September.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicant should have a 2:2 (or above) UK Honours degree (or equivalent internationally recognized qualification) in Economics, Finance, Accounting and Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or Scientific subjects with some study of corporate finance, international finance and securities.
- Applicants with a 2:2 in a business subject including accountancy should demonstrate some exposure to corporate finance, financial engineering or securities analysis, and mathematics, statistics or operations research.
Indian Eligibility:
- Candidates should have a minimum score of 55%-65%. Offers within the grade range are determined by the higher education institution attended.
- GRE scores are not required.

- For all undergraduate, postgraduate, research, and most English Language courses, students should apply for a Tier 4 (General) student visa, which covers the whole duration of the course. For this, proof of English Language ability is to be provided to get a Certificate of Acceptance for Study (CAS). Application for a visa can be made 3 months before the start of the course. A decision on visa status is made within 3 weeks.
Following documents need to be provided to apply for a visa:
- a current passport or other valid travel documentation
- proof that one can pay for their course and oneself (For courses that are nine months or over, proof of 11,385 GBP needs to be shown)
- proof of parental or other legal guardian consent if under 18
- proof of relationship with parent or guardian if you’re under 18
- tuberculosis test results if belonging to a country where the test has to be taken
- The Admissions Office will send the CAS details by email. After applying for a visa, the applicant will be called for an interview as a part of the process.
