The Human Resource Management MSc offers the opportunity to explore the issues of managing people both in theory and in practice and how this can contribute to organizational success.
The compulsory modules look at areas such as talent search, selection and recruitment, leadership recruitment, reward management, performance management, and creating an environment of learning and development.
International human resource management is also covered, looking at expatriation, management across cultures, and HR systems and processes from an international perspective.
As a prospective human resource manager, students will be able to address business and professional situations knowledgeably, making a contribution to improved organizational performance and delivering sound HR support.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Applicant should have a 2:2 (or above) UK Honours degree or an equivalent internationally recognised qualification.

Indian Eligibility:

Candidates should have a minimum score of 55%-65%. Offers within the grade range are determined by the higher education institution attended.

VISA & Work Study

For all undergraduate, postgraduate, research, and most English Language courses, students should apply for a Tier 4 (General) student visa, which covers the whole duration of the course. For this, proof of English Language ability is to be provided to get a Certificate of Acceptance for Study (CAS). Application for a visa can be made 3 months before the start of the course. A decision on visa status is made within 3 weeks.

Following documents need to be provided to apply for a visa:

a current passport or other valid travel documentation
proof that one can pay for their course and oneself (For courses that are nine months or over, proof of 11,385 GBP needs to be shown)
proof of parental or other legal guardian consent if under 18
proof of relationship with parent or guardian if you’re under 18
tuberculosis test results if belonging to a country where the test has to be taken
The Admissions Office will send the CAS details by email. After applying for a visa, the applicant will be called for an interview as a part of the process.
