Arka Jain University offers various scholarships for UG and PG students on the basis of academics, sports, score/rank in entrance exam, early decision benefit, etc. Given below are the details for the same:

• Academic Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to students who have shown great academic performance. Students of all undergraduate, postgraduate and polytechnic courses can apply.
  • Duration: One time applicable
  • No of Scholarship: Open

• ​Sports Scholarship: Students of all undergraduate, postgraduate and polytechnic courses who have taken part at state, national or international level can apply for this scholarship.

Note: Candidates who have represented Association of School for Indian School Certificate in the last 2 years from year of admission are eligible for 10% of 1st year fee as a one time scholarship.

Criteria for Sports Scholarship

• State Level: Members of champions or runners up team and those attaining first three position in individuals discipline/events organized by the directorate of sports Jharkhand state government.
• National Level: Members of winners and runners up team and those attaining first three positions in individuals discipline/events in national level competitions organized by the school games federation of India, national sports federation, sports authority of India, all India University sports control board shall be eligible for the scholarship.
• International Level: Scholarship shall be awarded in the Olympic events only. 
  • Age Limit:19 yrs for school level (as on 31st March of the performance year) 22yrs for College level (as on 31st March of the performance year)
  • Tournament / Championship: Tournament /championship conducted by the Committee / Organization which is duly recognized by the International Olympic Committee will only be considered such as World Championship / Commonwealth Championship/ Asian Championship.

Note: A student who is the recipient of a sports scholarship by any other agencies of the central / state government will not be eligible to receive this scholarship.

• Scholarship based on performance at National level entrance test/AJUCET : Students of Polytechnic, B.Tech and MBA can apply for this scholarship.
  • Duration: One time applicable
  • No of Scholarship: Open

Note(s): 

1. Rank obtained in JCECEB Exam is taken in account for JCECEB . In case of Percentile round of will not be considered like candidate has scored 69.9 it will not be considered as 70.0 Percentile.
2. Composite Score / Percentile is taken consideration of the current year entrance test)

• Early Decision Benefit: This scholarship is offered to MBA students. 
  • Duration: One time applicable
  • No of Scholarship: Open

• Alumni Scholarship: Any student passing out from Jain College Jamshedpur/ Arka Jain University, Jharkhand are considered alumni and will be offered a scholarship of 10% of the 1st year fees of the course in which the student takes admission. This scholarship however does not apply for Ph.D enrollment. 
  • Duration: One time applicable
  • No of Scholarship: Open

Terms and Conditions

• Students can apply for scholarship in any of the above schemes whichever is higher.
• No student may hold more than ONE scholarship at a time. 
• Scholarship is not transferable. 
• In case of percentage rounding off will not be considered.
• In all categories, the scholarship is applicable one time only in the 1st year fees and scholarship amount will be waived off from the 2^nd semester fees. In case the scholarship amount is more than the semester Fee then it will be adjusted in the third semester Fee. 
• AJUSC decision will be final in any of the scholarship availed. 
• Scholarship is applicable for only newly admitted students batch 2020 lateral admission incase of Alumni pass out.
• Apart from Alumni all lateral admission are not entitled to any above-mentioned scholarship.

Scholarship Application Process

• Scholarship applicants can obtain the Scholarship Application Form from Program office at University campus in the month of August / Sept. (Notice will be displayed in the notice board).
• A student may apply for a scholarship in any ONE of the scholarship categories listed.
• Scholarship will be offered after joining the program on verification of original documents.
• Duly filled scholarship application form along with Xerox of the supporting documents to be submitted in the program office at university campus as per mention date in the notice. No Form will be accepted after due date.
• Consideration will be given to applications that meet the eligibility criteria for each scholarship category provided the application is received before the specified deadline mentioned in the notice.

Scholarship Selection Process

• All applications received under Academics, Sports and Entrance Exam, EDB and Alumni scheme will be categories, scrutinized and presented to the University Scholarship Committee.
• The AJUSC review the eligibility of the applicant and approve the scholarship The decision of the AJUSC will be consider final and the name of the eligible candidates will be displayed on the University notice board.
• Scholarship acknowledgment slip would be provided to the students from the Program Office for future references.
