Adikavi Nannaya University addresses the educational needs of both Godavari districts. All seventy-four Postgraduate institutes and 350-degree colleges in Godavari district, which were previously affiliated with Andhra University, are now maintaining their Government-mandated University Affiliation with Adikavi Nannaya University. 

The Admission for B.Ed. course in this University is going on through Ed.CET. Sri Venkateshwara University, Tirupati conducts AP Education Common Entrance Test (AP Ed.CET) on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education for admission into B.Ed (two years) Regular course in the Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh State. 

The common Entrance test will be of Objective type (multiple choice) examination. Candidates have to answer 150 questions in 2 hours time. Part A consists of 25 questions on General English. Part B comprises 25 questions of the GK and Aptitude. Part C asks questions from Methodology. Candidate has to choose one of the below-mentioned subjects. This part consists of 100 questions.

Adikavi Nannaya University B.Ed Admission Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should be Indian National.
• Candidates passed Bachelor’s Degree in any field (B.Sc. / B.com/ B.A/ BCA / BBM) are eligible to apply.
• B.E/ B.Tech. with Mathematics and Physics are also eligible.
• There is no upper age limit.
• Minimum percentages that have to be obtained to be eligible for applying are as follows, for OC- 50%, For SC/ST/BC and PH-40%. 
• Candidates should have completed the age of 19 years on 1st July of the year in which notification is issued.There is no upper age limit.

Adikavi Nannaya University B.Ed Admission 2021 Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in AP Edcet exam. Qualified students have to participate in the state centralised counselling Process in which they have to choose the college/university during choice locking. Selected candidates will be called for the admission in the university itself where they required to submit the fees and documents for admission.

Spot Round Application Process:

Applications have to be submitted through online mode only. An amount of Rs. 500 (Rs. 300 in case of SC/ST/PH), plus bank charges applicable for the mode of payment selected as Registration and Application Processing Fee.

Candidates must go through the following steps while filling up the Application form:

• For online submission, candidates have to visit the Website http://www.aknudoa.in/
• Online application form has to be filled up with the required details.
• The following information might be required while filling up the online application form.
  1. Eligible courses
  2. Hall-Ticket number of qualifying examination
  3. Percentage of Marks and Year of passing of Qualifying Examination, if passed.
  4. Date of birth as per SSC records
  5. Caste in case of SC/ ST/ BC candidates
  6. PH/ NCC/ CAP etc.
  7. Parental home income
  8. Study or residence (from M.R.O) or relevant certificate for proof of local status.
• The above original certificates are to be submitted during the counselling for Admission.
• The application fee has to paid online by opting any of the following modes of payments,
  1. Debit card
  2. Credit card
  3. Net banking
• All the details have to be verified carefully and then submit button has to be pressed.
• Filled in Application form will be generated that contains Application number along with filled details.
• Print out should be taken of the filled in Application form

Note: Incomplete applications are liable to get rejected. Till the admission process is completed, the application number may be used for future correspondence.

Documents Required:

The eligible and interested candidates may approach the office of the directorate of Admissions with a demand draft of Rs. 400 drawn in the favour of Registrar, Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajamahendravaram along with the following original documents:

• AP. Ed. CET Rank Card(If attended)
• Provisional original degree certificate and marks statement of qualifying examination
• Transfer and conduct Certificates from the College last studied.
• Study certificates from class IX onwards issued by the Heads of the respective School/ College/ Institute or Local Candidates certificate/ Certificate for the non-local category issued by the appropriate / Authority in the prescribed format
• Date of Birth Certificate (SSC/ Matriculation/ equivalent certificate)
• Integrity community certificate issued by Competent Authority in case of SC/ST/BC candidates.
• Migration certificate in case of candidates from other universities
• 4 recent passport size Photos
• 2 sets of photocopies of all the above certificates
• The selected candidates should pay a course fee of Rs. 16,500 through challan at the time of Admission in the Bank counter located in the University Campus.

AP.ED.CET Application Process

Application forms for AP.Ed.CET is to be filled online. The application registration fee is Rs. 600.(for SC/ST is Rs. 400).

System requirements:

• Browsers such as Google Chrome/ Mozilla Firefox 3.6 and above or Internet Explorer 6.0 and above.
• Screen Resolution: 600x800
• Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.0 and above
• Disable the pop-up blocks and uninstall all the Script blockers.

Mode of Payment:

Candidates can pay the fee by any of the two methods,

• AP online by cash: For this the candidates need to visit their nearest AP online centre.
• Debit card/Credit card/NEt banking: These options come directly in Online submission of Application.
