The tuition fee is Rs.62,500/- per semester.

NIT Warangal B.Tech. Eligibility Criteria

NIT offers B.Tech in various specializations. The minimum educational to apply is 75% marks in 10+2 or top 20 percentile in the 10+2 by the respective board.
Physics and Mathematics are the compulsory subjects at 10+2 level.

NIT Warangal B.Tech. Selection Criteria

Admissions will be based on JEE Main conducted by CBSE. Students who qualify for the entrance exam will have to appear for the centralized counseling by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB).

Relaxation of 10% will be given for SC/ST candidates in the qualifying examination.
Class 12th marks will not be added for calculation of rank and merit.
Admissions will also be offered for Foreign National/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/ Non-Residential Indians (NRIs) under the Direct Admissions of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme of Ministry of Human Resource Development. Such candidates must have a valid Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) score.

Nitw holds very good record of placements percentage irrespective of branch of students.
Very good placement opportunities is the 1 st thing i like about nit Warangal.
The library facility is very good with 24 hours of library availability
The course circullum is good they design the course for 4 years from basics to master level in systematic manner so that we can design by the end of 4 years.
Campus life has been good and I am enjoying my hostel days at Nit warangal

FOOD CANTEENS ARE REMOVED FROM HOSTELS AND IT IS A BAD EXPERIENCE
The ragging culture here is too bad they get ragged veryofently
Mess food is worst in NIT Warangal specially mess like IFC A and IFC B
The mess food it is too bad here and they dont serve non veg here
I also dislike the fact that some faculty is not good

National Institute of Technology Warangal - Has good Placements record

The mechanical department has good faculties and all are highly qualified they have years of experience in teaching and they teaching can be understood by the students easily. Faculty to the student ratio is about 4:20. We have two exams in a semester they mid-semester exam and the end-semester exam, and they are a bit difficult to pass with out studying.

I choose this course because it was a good option for my rank in JEE and I don't regret it. The faculty was awesome and they clear our doubts. All teachers are experienced and completed their Ph.D. in recognized institutes. We have to give time for studies and if we study with strategies it is easy to pass and get good scores in term exams. We have to spend some time for study in the hostels. Time is not sufficient in term exams we have to manage the time and it was not difficult to pass as I expected.

Our faculty are very highly qualified as this is one of the top NITs in India we have a structured course curriculum and it is strictly followed. At our NITW there is a 20: 1 student to teachers ratio which is a good ratio. We have 2 Exams in a semester.

The course curriculum is strictly followed by the faculties and students. There is a 20:1 ratio of student to faculty ratio. Teachers are very highly qualified and teach very well. We have 2 main exams in a semester the are Mid sem exam and End Sem exam every semester.

In the Mechanical Engineering department, there are approximately 80 members in the branch from our batch. We have 2 sections and we need to give 4 exams per year, there are 2 minors for 10 marks each. Mid-semester exam for 30 marks, End semester exam for 50 marks, and the overall semester marks will be realized in the marks sheet at once after the semester.
