Osmania University ME/M.Tech./M.Pharm Eligibility Criteria
M.E/MTech.- To be eligible for admission, the candidates must possess anyone of the following qualifications-
- A pass in B.E. of Osmania University in the concerned discipline or its equivalent
- AMIE/AMIETE or similar qualifications recognized by O.U. as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech
Note- For M.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) Master’s Degree in Physics, Statistics, Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Applied Physics, Geophysics, M.Sc. (Comp.Sc.), M.Sc.(I.S), M.Sc. (Electronics), Master of Computer Applications(MCA), or B.E./B.Tech in any discipline/branch or its equivalent. For M.Tech (CSE) admissions are based on Valid GATE RANK of CSE/IT only.
M.Pharm.- A pass in B.Pharmacy degree of Osmania University or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, and passed the GATE with 55%.
Osmania University ME/M.Tech./M.Pharm Selection Criteria
Admissions will be based on valid GATE Rank obtained at GATE examination. If sufficient number of GATE qualified candidates are not available the admissions are made on the basis of the Entrance Test conducted by the University/Government.
Candidates possessing a valid score in GPAT are also eligible for admission to M.Pharm.
Note- Admission to the Part-time program will be based solely on the candidate’s performance in the Entrance Test conducted by the University.
