Candidates seeking admission must satisfy the following criteria:

• An acceptable CAT score.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized institution or college with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale.
• A 5% mark reduction is available to SC/ST/PWD candidates.
• Candidates in their final year of high school may also apply. If chosen, he or she must meet the qualifying requirements by October of the next academic year.

• In its first year, the MBA program is generic and includes common courses. In the second year, students might elect to take specialized courses.

• The MBA program at IITG is divided into four semesters and seven terms. The first six terms have a total of 20 credits. While the seventh term of the MBA program is only 16 credits long.
