Panjab University Admissions 2024: Application Form, Courses, Eligibility, Last Date To Apply

At the UG program the university provides various courses with multiple disciplines. All the courses are full time and campus based. Courses like B.E, B.Com, B.Sc, B.A, BHMCT, B.P.Ed, B.Ed, LLB, B.Pharma, B.Lib.Sc and few integrated courses are provided by the university. Regular courses like B.A, B.Sc are provided in Hons. and General both. Students are required to qualify 10+2 level or equivalent degree in relevant subjects with a minimum number of percentages from a recognized board. Selection process is based on both entrance and merit that differs from one subject to another.

Panjab University UG Eligibility Criteria

• For being eligible to B.E courses, students must pass 10+2 level with PCM subjects combination from a recognized board. 
• To be eligible for B.Ed, BCA, BBA, B.Sc, B.P.Ed, B.A + B.Ed and BHMCT, students need to qualify 10+2 level with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. 
• For B.Ed and LLB, students must have done a graduation degree from a recognized university. 

Panjab University UG Selection Process

• For admission to B.E, candidates need to obtain a qualified score in JEE Main. 
• For B.Ed, B.Com, B.P.Ed, B.A B.Ed, B.Com LLB, students need to go through an entrance test or aptitude test conducted by the university. 
• For B.Sc, B.Pharma, students must have a valid score in PU-CET (UG).
• For LLB and BHMCT applicants should have qualified scores in PU LLB and PUTHAT. 

Several courses are offered by Punjab University in the PG curriculum. All the courses are in full time, campus based mode. In various disciplines PG courses are provided. The courses are M.E, M.Com , MBA, MCA, LLM, MA, MDS, M.Sc, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, M.Tech, MPH, MSW, M.Pharm and M.Li.Sc provided at PG level. To meet the eligibility, students should have done a Bachelor's degree in related fields from a recognized university. The university accepts admission in both entrance and merit based. Panjab University PG Eligibility Criteria

• To be eligible for PG courses, students should have passed a graduation degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university. 
• For M.Ed and M.PEd students must score 50% marks in aggregate at graduation from a recognized university. 

Panjab University PG Selection Process

• For being eligible in M.A, M.Sc, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, MPH and M.E, applicants are required to pass CET-PG conducted by the university with qualified marks. 
• For admission to MBA, students should pass the MET with a qualified score. 
• For MCA and LLM, candidates need to go through the entrance exam PU-CET. 
• For admission to MDS, students must obtain a qualified score in NEET MDS. 
• For admission to M.Tech, students must secure a qualified score in GATE. 
• For LLM, the university accepts qualified scores in CLAT. 

M.Phil and PhD courses are provided in several specialisations by Panjab University. Students must pass graduation with at least 55% marks in aggregate in related subjects from a recognized university. Admission will be granted for PhD & MPhil courses, on the basis of a written test and followed by an interview process conducted by the university. Students must have done a Bachelor's degree with 55% marks in aggregate with related subjects from a recognized University to be eligible. 

Panjab University PhD & M.Phil Selection Process

Admission will be based on a written test conducted by the university and final selection will be done on the basis of the interview session. 

Panjab University offers PG Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Diploma and Certification courses along with regular courses. All these courses are provided in a handful of specialisations. These courses are campus based and in full time mode. For PG Diploma students must pass graduation in any from a recognized university and for Advanced Diploma, candidates must have done a Diploma course in related fields. For being eligible to a Diploma or Certificate course students are required to complete 10+2 level. Admission to any of these courses are merit based. Few specializations are given below:
