Panjab university B.Tech Eligibility
Candidates aspiring to take admission into the college must appear for either JEE Main for getting admission in the first year of B.Tech or PULEET examination for lateral entry (2nd Year) into B.Tech.
- Candidates aspiring to take admission in the first year of B.Tech should have completed their 10+2 with an aggregate of 60% in the science stream from a recognized board.
- For lateral entry, the students should have completed three years of diploma course after 10th/12th, or the students should have completed their first year of engineering with an aggregate of 60% from a recognized board.
Also, the students should have appeared in the joint engineering exam(JEE).
Panjab university B.Tech Admission Guidelines
The aspiring candidates should go through the eligibility criteria for admission to engineering courses. The students can also get direct admission to the second year of engineering through the entrance exams (PUMEETand PULEET). PUMEET stands for Punjab University Migration Engineering Entrance Test allows students to get direct admission to the second year of engineering at Punjab University. It also allows them to change the specialization. Another entrance test PULEET stands for Punjab university lateral engineering entrance test allows students to get direct admission into the second year of engineering. The students can sit for this test if the aspiring students have done 10th/12th plus three years of an engineering diploma.
