IGNOU BA Psychology Eligibility Criteria

The general principles of IGNOU rely on openness, and flexibility that apply to its eligibility criteria as well. Students who have successfully completed 10+2 are eligible for admission in BAPC. No admission test is required, students will get admission on applying for the course. 

Course Duration

The BAPC course is designed in a way that can be completed within 3 years. However, IGNOU allows learners to complete the course within a maximum of 6 years, failing which a new admission will be required. 

Credit System

The university follows a credit system, contributing 36 credits to each year. Students need to obtain 96 credits in all to attain the degree of BA in Psychology.

Each credit is equivalent to 30 hours, thus entailing a learner has to devote 24 hours to complete an 8 credits-course.

You will not be allowed to appear for the term-end examination for any course if you do not submit the assignment in time for that course. If you appear in the term-end examination, without submitting the assignments, the result of the term-end examination is liable to be canceled.

IGNOU BA Psychology Term-End Examination

Term-end examination is the core of the evaluation system carrying 70% weightage in final results. To be eligible for appearing in term-end exams, students are required to:

• Pay course fee
• Opted for prescribed courses
• Submitted assignment for respective courses
• Submitted examination form within the stipulated time

To appear for the term-end exam, students have to fill an online exam form available on the official website of IGNOU and pay the exam fee for each subject through credit or debit card.

To apply for Term-End examinations, follow these steps:

2. From the drop-down menu, choose Term-End Exam
3. Check the detailed information before filing the form

Revaluation 

After the results are announced on the official website of IGNOU, for any unsatisfactory results, students can apply for revaluation of each course. At present both, offline and online mode for revaluation application is available.
